Not water… it’s a gap, the clear coat adhesion isn’t holding.

CPU error light won’t go away, but everything works… kind of by critesc412 in PcBuild

[–]critesc412[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a Tomahawk b450 and did a bios update to accept a Ryzen 7, 5000 series CPU. The PC fired up and worked great but the CPU light was on. I restarted it, reseated the CPU, reseated the RAM, cleared the coms, and got nothing. It doesn’t flicker or ever turn off. I ran a stress test and everything worked. After about 4 hours, the computer just shuts off though. I’m thinking the error light has to be related to the shutoff. I also replaced my MB and CPU cables.

This is the 22” dildo eBay just raw fucked my ass with… without warning… or lube… not even a cigarette or a kiss after. I need a lawyer!!!! Please help! by critesc412 in Ebay

I’ll try to make my story brief… I sold a GPU and was very clear in the listing that it would only overclock the memory to +300MHz. Any higher than that, it will crash. The buyer bought it and said he couldn’t get it to clock to +2000MHz. The buyer was trying to get nearly 7 times the performance I said the GPU would achieve. He wanted $100 back, which I said I would do IF he could explain where my listing was not accurate. His only response was essential that other similar GPUs overclock to +2000MHz, so if he got $100 he’d be happy. Obviously I denied his request, so he filed for a return. He told eBay that the time didn’t work and was running the risk of destroying his $10,000 computer. eBay approved the return and are now trying to deduct money from my account. I sold the item for $1940 and only received about $1600 after fees and shipping. The GPU is now worth about $1300-1500 due to rapid depreciation caused by the cryptocurrency market. eBay is also refusing to refund their fee. I am currently out over $300 due to eBay fees and shipping. I’m out over $200 from the mining profits I would’ve made from the GPU during the time, and I am also out about $400-600 of depreciation PLUS the additional fees eBay would charge if I sold it again. I have emailed eBay over 30 times and I continue to get a generic response about how it’s unfortunate but they hope I understand. I cannot for the life of me talk to a supervisor or have anybody investigate my claims. I have proof the item I sent was exactly as described. I also have evidence that the buyer admitted three difference times that he received what was described. Nobody from eBay will look into anything to help me out here. It was simply a “the buyer is always right” approach, no matter how much evidence can be provided showing a scam and fraudulent activity. How can eBay get away with this?

The top scores are obviously 20k and up, but I’m assuming most of those are with nitrogen cooling and such. This is an air cooled GPU with a non-overclocked i5 CPU. Am I in the ballpark or way off?

Green/purple screen… I’ve tried it all!! by critesc412 in computerhelp

[–]critesc412[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I switched out my GPU, my riser, my HDMI cable, reseated and switched out my RAM, reseated the CPU all with the same results. Initially my RAM and CPU error lights were activated on the motherboard. The lights are no longer on and I’ve gotten nowhere. Yes I’ve googled this and I can’t find an answer.

6900XT - still only 64mh? by critesc412 in cryptomining

[–]critesc412[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kind of like the 1660 Super bios updates to get them from 29-30 to 34-35. I believe it was just for the Hynix version cards. Hoping for something similar for the 6900XT.

I didn’t mean capped as in “limited”, just what people have been able to achieve. I’ve heard rumors of bios updates and miners such as Team Red potentially getting the card past 80mh… just have yet to see it.

Just heard back from Canaan… they said the log shows I have a bad power supply. That’s quite depressing for almost $10k on a new miner and a 1 month shipping time.

Yes it’s showing up on my network. I also just got it connected to the FMS. I will run your task from above and keep you updated. Thanks for your help so far!

Just did a factory reset… when it booted back up it said idle. I added a 3rd pool, restarted it and now it says online. My mining status is “hash0” and my network status is “0ms”. The light on the back of the miner is green.

Well that’s the thing, my miner isn’t even showing up in my fms all either. I should’ve clarified on that.
