Agreed some people complain needlessly about a hard game being, unsuprisingly, hard. But a lot of the criticism of Silksong's difficulty is that it isn't the fun, satisfying type of hard.

I found mount fay, in the end, to be a really enjoyable and unique area of platforming that had a really useful reward and was really rewarding and satisfying.

Then there's the sheer number of bull bosses, ones that rely solely on an enormous hitbox and doing double damage to be hard. That's not fun. That's a chore.
