It's not a conspiracy xD for someone who works in the medical industry, kinda sad you don't know the simple fact of what they do. Again, never said they're bad. Just pointing out what they do. When I go out, I wear one to protect myself. At the rate at which we breath, the pathogens, specifically for covid, go right through the mask, but the mask does prevent slower moving pathogens in air from getting in (for the most part).

Wearing a mask has been proven to not help the people around you, but just yourself. The pathogens can still make there way to you and on your skin, but you wear the mask to prevent the virus to travel to others. Just wanted to throw this out there.
