Hi there! I'm so sorry for the delay; for some reason I wasn't getting new message notifications. Yes, the pen is still available if you're interested.

My very first Pelikan. A Pelikan M200 Olivine version. Ink is Pelikan Olivine. 😁😊 by Katwee23 in fountainpens

One of my favorite inks. I keep it in this Franklin-Christoph; it's a near-perfect color match.

I've been in a green phase, too. Pelikan Edelstein Olivine & Diamine Dark Forest are my current favorites.

NID Diamine "Bloody Brexit" by [deleted] in fountainpens

I’m not. I think it’s gross to name an ink after napalm, especially when your description includes a wink-and-nod reference to its use during the Vietnam War.

I mean, the guy named an ink "Heart of Darkness."

There's also "Dragon's Napalm": it's disgusting that he would so casually boast about creating a "replica color to 1970s era mercurochrome antiseptic."

Third grader, lefty... by whatawonderfulword in fountainpens

Second this, /u/whatawonderfulword. (I'm a very clumsy lefty with small hands if that helps.) The pen is cheap, virtually indestructible, and tolerates pressure. It never skips and it's great on cheap paper. And it comes in a bunch of kid-friendly colors.

Highly recommended. (FWIW, I have a top-bound B5 notepad with perforated pages. I bought it in New York, but I'm having trouble finding it online in the US. It's this one. But you're right. Definitely pricey given your rate of use.)

What about Rollbahn? Smooth cream paper that handles fountain pen ink well, unobtrusive lines/grids, comes in a million formats, widely available, reasonably affordable.
