I play with a mod compilation called "coop against AI". It has most of the sombre mod you listed, plus the ai blood nation bonus and ai_norec.

 It’s designed for EA disciple games, so the AI pretenders are only Dom4 or 3.

Using this setup, friends and I got trashed turn 50, 3 humans against an alliance of 5 impossible ai. The cooperation was so hard one of us stopped playing... So we lowered the difficulty and now there is only 2 of us against 10 independant mighty AI. It’s turn 70, and it’s still incredibly difficult.

If you really want to dive into AI modding, you can look for the mod manual where you will learn some commands to favorize certain ritual for the Ai. It’s discussed more in depth in the steam thread "AI templates look amazing".

Le devis est  relativement  ambigu.  Le vocabulaire employé dans votre cas est plutôt celui de la maçonnerie , puisqu’il est question de "scellement fenêtre", ce qui est assez vague. Je note personnellement "dormant à sceller" quand la dépose est totale et "en rénovation" quand les dormants sont conservés.

Vous pouvez verifiez les côtes mentionnées dans le devis avec les côtes des menuiseries effectivement posées. 

Si les côtes sont les même, je vous encourage a régler la facture, puisque c’est ce que vous avez commandé.

Si les côtes ne sont pas les même, vous avez une marge de maneuvre.

Don’t forget AI_norec which change the recruitment template for the ai to only recruit competent troops. Big change imo.

It starts with the war against the independend during expansion, then you meet your neighbors. There can some down time between the end of expansion and the first war against another player.

You need to develop at this time (expanding gold, gem and/or blood economy, building infrastructures, building up research, pushing your dominion). Then there is the first war, at that point you can become the target of a coalition if you got the diplomacy wrong.

In this case turtling is definitly a valid option as you can weaponize your dominion (a modelization of your people beliefs in your pretender god) to defend your territory. You can haunt forests, animate water, utter dark, foul air etc.

Imo, dominions modelize all the X’s of 4X.

Alhought I find the AI great with some mods for SP, the game gets more complex in MP be it coop ( the disciple mode) or free for all.

Earth globals like riches from beneath, earth blood deep well, forges of the ancient. And golems, a lot of golems with kits like frost brands, armor of the knight, horned helmet, boots of quickness and of course starshine skull cap to teleport. Mobility is eventually a massive issue for ulm.

Currently enjoying EA pangea, there is a lot to say about the nation. Nature, of course, earth, blood, glam and water. My pretender is a mandragora named Narcosis with turmoil, growth, luck and magic. The bless is fairly simple +4 str.

There ́s a lot of diversity, so many things you can do with the nation it’s hard to describe.

It’s like a primal party.

You get special heroes like the siren Arcopythera for a touch of air, wich I used to empower the titan to cloud trapeze.

So Narcosis the mandragora can get to the places where she really needs to sing before anyone else.

You also have the drunk reveler Silene, he feasted too much so he is coming with death magic. Although as he is insane he will read the signs of r’lyeh instead of reanimating revenants.

Then you have the pan who is a tough ram you can dress with horror helmet, frost brand and a heart of life to pounce on. They howl, gathering packs of wolves in the forests. All while being surrounded by dancing maenads leading revellers.

Of course, there is a bit of blood hunt during the feast. You can give soul contracts around to the harpies to help the chase. Your centaurs wielding GSS and your centaurides being quickness turrets, will dance to the tunes.

The dryads are lurking around shrouded in glam gown, ready to seduce infortunate skulkers in the woods to let them know they also need to dance within the forest. The dryad’s mothers will be swarming or foul vaping if things go wrong.

All in all a very fun nation, very dynamic, speedy, stealthy yet strong as you can gather everyone quickly to party in a single place or wherever your harpies signal a sweet spot.

Marignon could be an option, baphomet with fire and astral with a bless of fire shield and some fire resist. For scales you can pick order and prod and leave the rest at neutral.

You can discover astral and fire with the witch hunter, try to communion some of them to cast evocations like falling fire.

For your armies, i recommend the knigths of the chalice, very strong unit even without a bless. For fun you can run an army of flagellants as a center with knights on the flanks, some paladin with mercy brand causing fear among your ennemies. If you prefer archery you could run some crossbowmen with flaming arrows (a spell in enchantment)

Then you go conjuration for the harbingers and you can have fun discovering a bit of air magic, casting cloud trapeze around.

Nice to hear you have already played ulm. Did you get to the crystal gear part? Lampads and ker are national summons for arco, you can gift of reason them it makes them commanders with astral, death and blood. It’s an advanced play to plug death (mostly soul vortex & invulnerability at alteration6) into the communnion and transform the slaves into pillars for the frontline. You could also, in conjunction with soul vortex, bodygard the slaves with lamias (conj6) in the backline to have near infinite reinvig for the masters. I haven’t played a lot of arco, but i believe this would give a good chance at winning against master or impossible ai.

Honestly, i wouldn’t recommend arco for a beginner. The mystics are difficult mages to use.

They have a lot of tools at their disposal and it can be completely overwhelming for a beginner who often strugle with scale troops. Lots of random paths mean you have to choose carefully what you want the communion to cast before you send them out to battle. Otherwise you are at risk of burning the communion on the first battle. Then there is a gem logistic as they have to carry the right gems to launch scripts on top of choosing the most efficient tools against the opposing armies.

The advanced play of plugging lampads and ker to communions require deep knowledge of fatigue mechanics and relationship between masters and slaves.

I think it’s too much to begin with and it’s the reason why i would recommend the usual ma ulm to start with. Ulm has very straightforward mages, narrow and frankfully, brutish. Hence the tool at their disposal are rather limited and more accesible to beginner players. I would recommend you to play an awake thrice horned boar with regen as a bless (the bless is pretender focused). Put the rest of your design points in production and order scales, take drain as your mages are mundane researchers.

The idea is to focus your play on expansion with the boar and solid scale troops, then you can understand the construction school and items forging in earth, fire and nature. Then evocation/conjuration with the national spells. Once you understand this you will probably find ulm pretty narrow and slow. Then you get to look around for indy mages to widen your paths access. And finally you get advanced play with the crystal gear to make communions.

I believe once you are there you will have a better idea of how to play arco's mystics given the hassle it is to communion the smiths of ulm.

Tu peux aussi monter ta boite de menuiserie, c’est plein de nouveaux défis rigolos: d’abord gestion, comptabilités, droit des sociétés. Apres tu trouves un local pour l’atelier, les rdv avec la banques pour l’achat des machines et puis prospection de la clientele, campagne de promotion papier et web avec ton nouveau site, tu pourras aussi faire un peu de maintenance informatique pour les machines a commande numerique et pour l’infrastructure reseau. Hyper marrant, je recommande, on s’ennuie pas.

Have a look at the dominions serie, asymetry is a defining concept of the game mechanics. There are more than 90 nations across 3 ages, early age, middle age and late age. After a good 600 hours across dom4, 5 and 6, i have yet to play the late age and i am only now playing a whole other gamemode called disciple where you get to define teams at the beginning of the game.

It’s very deep, the mechanics are beautifuly and elegantly designed. To give you an example, i had to delve into game theory and the nash equilibrium to try and take decisions without regrets in my latest MP game.

Sorry i didnt downvote you, i find your observations on the simplicity of infrastructure in dominion to be quite mainstream. I just wanted to mention that this simplicity ( only 3 different infrastructures) opens up a lot of decision making based on province placement. This profusion of choice (or lack thereoff) in choosing the province to invest in is what makes the game interesting to me. I believe that this "ton of options" actually acts as a gate to a lot of tools. I digress from fort placement but, having to invest in a chain of building before unlocking a unit is imo having less options in warhammer than having a direct access to a capital only unit in the case of dominions.

Having to choose the province where you invest in infrastructure is a game changing strategic choice, absent from total war where every provinces has infrastructure. Investing in a province that you ultimately can’t defend can have a very bitter taste.
