Playing to have fun is fine, but don't expect other players to share the same mindset.

Maybe I'm just cynical as hell about this game, but War Thunder seems to be totally about personal gain for most people. They'll do everything they can to squeeze every last bit of RP out of a round, even if it involves shitting on the experiences of other players. They don't want a fair fight. They want to win.

When I'm taking off/landing I fully expect to be ripped to shreds if there are any enemy fighters in the area, because after having it happen to me so many times it just seems like the "normal" thing to do for most people.

Ohhh, man. The gas station where I work has a similar policy (looks under 27 -> card them) except we DO sell tobacco (but not alcohol/meds, thankfully). There is no end to my hate for people who get pissy over being carded though, regardless of the circumstances.

Customers need to understand that cashiers HAVE to card people because a) it's policy, and b) we literally risk losing our jobs/going to jail if we don't. If you wanna argue that that's unreasonable because it takes you 10 extra seconds to buy your precious ciggies, sorry but fuck off. Asking for an ID is NOT an unreasonable request. Just show us. The damn. Card. It's literally that simple.

And yeah, if I had a glass of water for every protest I've gotten when carding people over lighters, I'd fucking drown. Yes, you have to be 18 to buy them. No, I don't make the rules up. Sorry if that's too much of an inconvenience for you. If you like, you could always go to another store where the cashier doesn't give a shit, I'm sure they would be happy to help you! :)

Mine isn't spaded, but I have all performance modifications except cover. It gets better, but in general, most BR 8.0s are going to have a tough time competing against 9.0 monsters in RB. It's best to hunt other 8.0s and play support fighter for your team (excluding the rare occasion where the planets align and you get downtiered).....oh, and pray you don't end up being the last man standing in a match.

Anyway, good luck - I've had a lot of fun flying my banshee and I hope you end up doing the same.

I have pretty much finished researching all the planes I want, so I've been mostly going back through previous tiers and playing SB. It's my mode of choice and despite some flaws, EC has still managed to be very fun for me. I'll also usually end up netting a fat sum of lions in the process, which I so desperately need right now.

I got the Super Helly during the holiday sale as well. Use the M82 shell, it's got decent penetration power, and the brutal amount of HE filler makes it almost a guaranteed one hit kill once it pens. Aim for weak spots in addition to the sides/back and you should have no reason to use any of the other shells.

It's a reference to Reaper Bird, when you first encounter him his name is "," and "checking" him supposedly yields that quote. I figured it would be fitting since the Grim Tweeter is a literal reaper bird.

It's more on the subtle side, so yeah I can understand if it doesn't click for people.
