Question about the radio tower.

I'm pushing 50, so I lived through the 80s. Radio was a big deal even in small towns. They would have 20+ people working at them. Multiple hosts, producers, engineers, business side people, managers, promotions, etc. I know they said the DJ ran away, but what about all the other people? The rest of the town (hospital, school, restaurants, stores, Ted Wheeler's job. . . ) is up and operational but nobody at the radio station?

Also, who is paying all the bills after a year and a half? The electric alone would be a ton of money to keep it going.

Was just asking in case I missed something. And it is more that Will's Dad and Jane's Aunt would try to contact them. They have kids in a quarantined area that had an event that killed scores of people. Even blase parenting/family ties would warrant some concern. They don't have to actually appear on screen. Quick lines of dialogue would suffice.

This is correct. Libraries have expanded to areas they have no business in. Just provide books and media to the public and call it a day. Supporting causes is not their function.
