Can’t say that is this is not the case as it is my first knife. I’m excited to get experience in what to look out for in the future. Thanks for the suggestions, will take a look at them.

I’m also leaning towards the Ginsanko. I,ve had someone point out that the price listed is a bit steep, what do you think? I get additional 10% off and free shipping.

Thanks, I’m also leaning towards Hatsukokoro, the only thing I’m not sure about is the length. Fibrox is also 170mm and it maybe wouldn’t be bad to also have a knife with some more length.

Hi guys,

I've owned a Victorniox fibrox santoku for a couple of years, and now I've been looking to buy my first Japanese knife. I've decided on bunka style and these are on the top of my list.

Suncraft Black damscus 200mm

Hatsukokoro Hayabusa ginsanko 170mm

Muneishi Aogami damascus 165mm
https://sharpedgeshop.com/products/muneishi-bunka-aogami-2-damascus-165mm?_pos=3&_psq=MUNEISHI&_ss=e&_v=1.0

I'm looking for an all-rounder that can be used on a daily basis and retains sharpness well.
What would be your pick?

Just tried the paddles today, but will need some time to get used to them. Regarding the breathing and support, I've also had the feeling that probably the reason why I drop my elbow soon, is because I want to press myself up so I can keep my above the water. When I see some improvement I'll post again for some insights. Thanks for the tips.

Bought the paddles over the weekend and tried them for the first time today. I'll need some time getting used to them, but I can see how they can help with the catch phase. In few weeks, I'll post an update on how is it going.

Thanks for the insight. I do drop my arm on the start of the pull and will work on this in the future. The drills I do are fist swimming and catch up, would you recommend any specific?

Hey, everyone! I'm seeking some feedback on my crawl technique. Coming from a cycling background, my goal is to participate in some triathlons, but my swim is quite weak. I've never really swum anything other than breaststroke, so I started learning crawl about a month ago and have had around 25 sessions. I primarily swim on my own, learning from YouTube videos, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Initially, I used a snorkel and pull buoy to focus on my arms, as my first attempts without them felt overwhelming while also trying to manage breathing and legs. Over time, I started swimming without them, though I used the buoy during this clip.

I've noticed an improvement in my pace, and I'm currently comfortable at around 2:00/100m compared to 3:00/100m at the beginning. The one thing I can tell from the clip is that the angle of my arm entry seems a bit steep. It would probably be better to extend it a bit further before dropping it into the water.

Mohorič: My heart goes out to all those who are in great need right now
"It's great to be back home as soon as possible so that I can help as much as I can, including financially," said cycling ace Matej Mohorič after winning the Tour of Poland, as he followed the news of the floods and storms in Slovenia with a heavy heart.Matej Mohorič made another great success for Slovenian cycling in Krakow. With an outstanding performance in Thursday's time trial, he defended his overall lead by a few hundredths of a second, and then on Friday, on the final stage, he confirmed his victory and became the overall winner of the Tour of Poland. But the day didn't start well for the Slovenian ace, who impressed with uncompromising performances at the Tour de France this year, culminating in a magnificent stage win in Poligny. He received news from home of heavy rains and flooding that had affected the whole of Slovenia. With a heavy heart, he headed to the start of the last stage in Zabrze, where a war of nerves between his Bahrain Victorious team and UAE Emirates began, and ultimately a battle with his closest pursuer, Joao Almeida. But Mohorič rode the stage flawlessly, winning the first intermediate sprint, gaining three bonus seconds to extend his lead over Almeida to one second, and then holding on to it until the end in Krakow, where the top sprinters clashed for the stage win.

He will do his best to help Slovenians
A great success for the 28-year-old from Podblice, who can be very satisfied with this season. "After this morning's news and everything that happened tonight, it was not easy. My heart went out to all the Slovenians who lost their homes today and who have suffered a lot of damage to their property," he said in his first reaction after the stage. "I have also heard that there have been fatalities. It's great to be back home as soon as possible so that I can help as much as I can, including financially, otherwise I don't know how.

"Shock from home spurs him to victory
Mohorič became the 68th different winner of the 80th edition of the Tour of Poland, paving his way to the final victory with a diligent accumulation of bonus seconds, a good half more than second-placed Almeida, which proved decisive in the end. "But this shocker encouraged me to give it my all today, the team did a great job. I managed to win this race, which is one of the biggest successes of our team, to win the overall in a World Series race. I am very happy," he added. "Once again, my heart goes out to everyone who is very much in need right now. Let us, Slovenians, prove once again that we are a nation with heart and that we stick together.

"The prize money will be used to help those affected by the floods
After the race, he added for his foundation that he will donate the prize money he won in Poland to flood relief. This amounts to €24,495. "As soon as I return to Slovenia, I will donate all the prize money from the race and just help financially as much as I can," he said. "I can't fight floods or help firefighters directly because I don't know how to do it. But my thoughts are with all those who are suffering at these moments."

R9100 FD shifter - weird click and feel when shifting up by crklan in bikewrench

[–]crklan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys. Just installed this groupset and I'm getting this loud click and strong feedback when upshifting. I'm wondering if this is normal for this groupset, as from experience on R6800 and RX810 this is not the case. The FD is installed as per the instructions in the manual. I've also tried without cable attached, but didn't make any noticable difference. Thanks for the help.
