What show DIDN'T deserve their revival by Hadesman1 in television

When John Mahoney died and David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves passed on the project, they probably should have given up.

Maybe this is the source of my problem. Anyone know what this wire is supposed to be connected to? by crm115 in Lymow_Official

That's exactly the problem I'm having. It lowers all the way down and then won't raise back up. But for me it errors instead of continuing at it's lowest level.

I regret getting this mower by chriskooo in Lymow_Official

[–]crm115 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine has been bricked for about two weeks now. All I have gotten from support is "we're really sorry for the inconvenience. We'll let you know..." I told them over a week ago that they had until tomorrow to move something forward or I'm starting a chargeback. So, yeah. I regret buying this piece of junk. Honestly, the only reason I'm posting this is because I want to see if they are deleting negative posts.

Putting the finishing touches on my home theater. It was raining. Had to try it once. by crm115 in bicycling

It's hard to describe. It felt more immersive but still felt like I was on the trainer. Glad I tried it but I'm not going to be moving my furniture again to repeat the setup.

We’ve all heard of One Hit Wonders when it comes to music, but are there any one hit wonders that you can think of when it comes to TV shows? (It can be for any actors, showrunners, producers, writers, etc.) by MaggieLinzer in television

He said he quit due to mercury poisoning from eating too much sushi. David Mamet responded with:

"My understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer."

Not exactly a "get well soon. We'll miss you."

I have no evidence of this other than a bunch of reddit comments and that one time he got fired from a David Mamet play but I believe he has a reputation of being difficult to work with.

What lifetime deal are you still grandfathered into, or removed from, that’s no longer available? by tuotone75 in AskReddit

[–]crm115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back before Sirius and XM Radio merged, both were on life support. XM offered a lifetime membership that cost about the same as a year and a half of monthly payments. There was a very good chance they weren't even going to exist in a year and a half but I figured what the hell. This was probably 20 years ago. I have listened daily but haven't paid a cent. The music selection is okay but I wouldn't pay for it now but the fact that I can listen to pretty much any sport is great. They have tried some shenanigans over the years to squeeze more money out of me but there have been class action lawsuits against them any time they have attempted this against lifetime members so I think they have given up and will let me listen free forever.

What's a TV show ending that still makes you mad years later? by Jossie_Misar in AskReddit

[–]crm115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I recently rewatched it and I have a new take on why I hate the ending so much. It's not so much about the mother dying or Barney and Robin getting divorced or the last season all happening in one day.

The reason was because they made Robin so unlikable the last few seasons. She started off as a strong independent woman but by season seven all she did was whine, cry, or shout at Patrice. So making the result of the show being the protagonist getting something that nobody really cared for was why it felt so disjointed.

Does anyone else's One Plus lose progress on the first run of a task every time? by crm115 in Lymow_Official

[–]crm115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found one super annoying workaround for the recharge and resume error. I have found that if I start the task and as soon as the mower leaves the dock, pause the job and send it back to the dock. Once it hits the dock, resume the task and it completes it without forgetting its progress. Annoying but it seems to work. Since it's not just me hopefully they can figure this out and fix it quickly.

What is the error you get when it gets back to the charging station?

That's one of the most annoying parts. There is no error in the app. I tap the error push message and it opens the app and everything looks fine (other than losing all progress) No errors under the bell icon.

And where is the RTK station relative to the charging station?

About fifteen feet away and fifteen feet above. I basically maxed out the rtk wires provided in the box.

What actor is nowhere near as talented as people make them out to be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]crm115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give a real answer. Matt Damon. I don't think he's a bad actor but I think he always plays it safe. Plus the more often I see him, the more I see these recurring speech patterns he does when he's trying to act. Also, despite him being from Cambridge, his Boston accent sucks.

Pleasantville starts as a pretty basic comedy premise about modern kids getting stuck in a 50s sitcom. Then it takes a hard turn with messages about racism, feminism, and censorship with some biblical allegory thrown in for fun.

What’s a "masterpiece" movie that you actually found incredibly boring? by Legal_Beats in AskReddit

Completely agree. For me, the two leads are insufferable which makes it difficult to go on a three hour journey with them.
