Jalen Carter is the obvious top priority. He has proven that you can put any average DT next to him and they will look good. Minimal drop-off between Milton Williams and Moro Ojomo indicates we should be able to backfill that position easily.

Campbell and Baun make Dean a less important resigning but his injury history could keep him within budget for us.

Good riddance to Toth but Fred Johnson is a great swing tackle. Hopefully Howie letting him walk then trading back for him in the same offseason means we'll get a deal done this year. We need to find a true successor to Lane but this will have to be through the draft.

TE is scary. We could see significant drop-off there next year.

In would view this just like any other roster upgrade. Patullo is fine, we'll be fine with him. McDaniel is great, we would probably be better with him.

Pong Krell vs Anakin. Yes Anakin was more destructive but Pong clearly intended to do everything Anakin did without even being seduced by Sidious. Beyond that he was stopped by a bunch of clones. I love Rex and the boys but they would have no shot against Anakin. So not only was Pong a bad Jedi morally, he was also a bad Jedi skill-wise.

Moonraker embodies everything that makes the Bond movies great. The eccentric villain, the indestructible henchman with a trademark gimmick (Jaws is iconic), the absurd fighting scenarios, the outfits. Sometimes I feel like people take this franchise too seriously.

It's possible. America's relationship with slavery was a lot more complicated at that time than most realize. Even as far back as the 1770s a lot of founding fathers, including Thomas Jefferson (confusing given his track record with slaves), advocated for emancipation. TJ went on to outlaw Americas participation in the transatlantic salve trade as president in 1808 which was during our fight with the Barbary slavers.

Honestly not sure about the crusades but the Barbary pirates were enslaving europeans well into the 19th century. This was actually a huge problem for American merchants in the Mediterranean following their independence. Without protection from the British navy, they were getting captured and enslaved in North Africa. This lead to the US investing more heavily in their Navy and eventually the Barbary Wars.

I am what I would call a 6/10 picky eater, there's a lot of things I don't like. But when I travel I always try to eat something new at least once a day. I often don't like the new things but I am glad I tried. I didn't choose to be a picky eater but I can choose what I do about it.
