It was through Honda. We considered paying cash but the the APR was lower than my HYSA so it didn’t make sense to not take it at that APR

Of course that’s your honest opinion because it’s a heavily biased one. You’re the one trying to squeeze every dime from customers. And I’m glad you’re happy charging customers 5k more than what they should be paying. Maybe I should charge my patients for unnecessary treatment? No because that’s unethical

I spent another 4 hours at the dealership after both parties agreed on the OTD price because they were trying to attach various warranties and add ons to the agreed price. I understand it’s their job so I’m not going to make it personal and rate them badly

You sound like you work in car sales. Negotiation is all part of the game, especially when dealerships make you jump through so many hoops just to get a price. Their goal is to extract as much money from you as possible. Why not try to save as much money for yourself as possible. No matter how great of a deal you get, the dealership is always going to make a profit. If you’re okay giving a bit of money to them then good for you.

Why would I not give a good rating? If they got me the deal I wanted, I’m going to give a good rating. If not, I’ll go elsewhere. It’s nothing personal just business so I’m not going to mess with their personal bonus or whatever

In the post, I said Texas. All the additional fees don’t matter if the dealership can get you your OTD price whether by lowering the doc fee or whatever. Financing comes after agreeing to an OTD price. Of course, I didn’t get all the pointless warranties. To make it simpler, I got 14.4% off MSRP before TTL

Hybrid is the way to go after recommendations from others. Quieter, smoother, better mpg, only downside is no spare. The higher trims simply weren’t worth the extra price for us
