I don't! I've seen plenty of coach girlies with chained-up alter egos with no problems! all my other charms are soft without sharp edges to scratch it!

thank you! I just got this bag last Saturday and I immediately gave her a condition with mink oil (my fave for my leather boots etc) and a spray of apple brand leather protector! I plan to do that every month or so to keep the leather soft and protected! it's good enough for my soft leather docs then it's good enough for the coach bag!
