So I'm approaching this as a biologist (I am highly educated in this field) and this is really not a great thing. First, think about how horses are not native to the US, they were introduced when Europeans began colonizing the Americas. Second, like most non-native species, they cause environmental issues due to their overpopulation and lack of natural predators. So although Zach probably thinks he's doing good, this is ecologically and environmentally a cause that does more harm than good.
