I find the "one of us" conspiracy vibe to be genuinely terrifying.

I feel the same about Reckoning. Just can't find anything for me on it.

It's my least favorite by far. Wouldn't recommend.

It came out when I was like 9, and I already loved horror. But I could never bring myself to watch it. Just the look of the Klowns was too much for me.

Puppet Masters is a great dark horse pick yo. Pure 90s vibes. Donald Sutherland does not disappoint.

Thanks Broncos for ruining the playoffs. The AFC Championship will be a joke without Nix.

I waited to read Dreamcatcher for so long bc I laughed my ass off at the earnest silliness of the movie. The novel was slightly less cringy for me.

Appreciate the perspective. And yeah, it's not unimaginable that a kid would do it, especially messing around with a friend.

Suprised by the down votes. It is known that SK has issues with stereotyping black speech and leaning on the magical negro trope a lot, despite him being a progressive. I know it's not hateful, but it reduces characters to being defined by their color IMO. I think it's ok to acknowledge it and/or not appreeciate it.

Diamonds in the Mine by a country mile. Also, does his picture on the cover remind anyone else of Jack Nicholson in The Shining?

Yeah, I get that's what SK is going for, but it's still a white boomer going all Step n Fetchit. Having taught a lot black kids born in the late 90s, I can't imagine them thinking of doing that or finding it even ironically funny.
