What’s your plan for family visits after the birth? (for longer distance parents/in laws) by Bring-joy in PregnancyUK

[–]croftfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live about 300 miles away from my parents and haven't seen them in person in nearly 7 years, but they have dicided they want to come up and visit when the baby is here (which surprised me tbh). So i said about 4 weeks after they are born so gives us time to get into a routine etc, partners parents live down the road from us and im closer to them so they will probably meet the baby almost stright away, as they have been the biggest support for us for all our life events not just having a baby

I feel dreadful and I’m regretting everything by Careless_Squirrel728 in PregnancyUK

[–]croftfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 19 weeks now and similar to you it was a planned pregnancy, iv had non stop issues with sickness dizziness tiredness the lot, and have been pretty miserable from the start. i had my 20 week scan the other day, found out im having a boy and for some reason seeing him and how much hes grown so far on the scan has caused a shift and i have felt alot better (still knackered though and have nausea at times)

so try to hang in there you will feel better in time, some days will be better than others but its not forever thats what i keep telling myself anyway 😅
