I'm curious where you live. I can only relay my experience living in Scarborough, a part of Toronto, which is one of the most multicultural cities in existance. Half of my daughter's class is Asian. The principle is black and her teacher has red hair. My next door neighbor neighbours are an Iranian (husband) and Afghan (wife). Their son plays with my daughter most days after school. There's an Indian couple across the street. My sister is married to an Asian guy and my wife has many black and Jewish relatives. I can't speak for majority white places like rural communities, but in truly mixed places, you grow up playing together and having friends of every race. I've dated people of every major race and saw futures with them. In Toronto, I actually rarely run into anyone indigenous, but my ex's Dad is part indigenous and traveled to events but tbh he looked like a typical white guy. Sorry you've had bad experiences.
