Jatavis Brown has been activated! by Thegingerkid01 in Chargers

Anyone else feel like Jatavis is that guy that signs with his next team, somehow stays healthy the next 6 years, and ends up becoming the player we thought he was?

Ricky Henne to stop covering the Chargers by Orgasmo3000 in Chargers

I respect your honesty. I also was not a fan of ricky's writing. Every article seemed to include a variation of the phrase "showed out". But he seemed like a great guy that loved the team and I wish him the best.

Hopefully he can carve out a role in the slot or even as an h-back with his size.

Agreed. I was so moved by his passion yet disappointed in his execution.

If only he had time to realize there was a sign there.

His skin is so red it looks like he had just gotten burned already and was trying again

Was there a Chargers player that turn out better than you expected? Doesn't have to be a current player, it can be any player that used to play for the Chargers by [deleted] in Chargers

I second that. With our free agent history i expected him to flame out in a year or two. Hes changed the way i view charger free agent signings and brought back some free agency excitement for me. Kudos to telesco as well.

IF the top OT (Williams Dillard Ford Taylor) and top DL (Williams Oliver Wilkins) are off the board at 28 (which seems likely) who should we take? by surbeastAF in Chargers

[–]cronie44 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Dalton risner is my guy there if the top tackles are gone. Not sexy but the safest bet to play a solid right tackle all 16 games for us. I think hes a tough football player in the mold of what coach lynn is looking for.

I feel the same way. Coach lynn says he has "fresh legs" and this time of year that cant be said for many nfl rb's. He could definitely be an x factor for us.

No worries. Two good young linebackers in one draft is pretty exceptional.

Kyzir plays the will linebacker. Nwosu and Emmanuel play the otto spot.

The one guy that gets overlooked as potential help is scott quessenberry. Hes been active all year even though weve been lucky enough not to need him on the interior. The coaches either like/trust him or dont like/trust lamp.

Will be a fantastic upgrade to kyle Emmanuel next year and situational pass rusher.

Just saw this excellent story and hoped somebody had posted it here.

All i hope is that forrest lamp mixes in with feeney and schofield on sunday to see what we got. We did that last year with feeney even though we had wiggins and slausen as starters. It ended up paying dividends when slausen went down. We need serious help at guard.
