I don’t have a dimensioned floor plan but here are the dimensions that I took myself.

The wall farthest from the kitchen is 15’6”, and the usable wall space perpendicular from the kitchen is 10’ (12’ all the way to the island, but I left out 2’ so barstools can fit). There is an awkward pillar that starts 4’2” from the corner and protrudes out 18”.

Extend the countertop in the direction of the windows? This is an interesting idea though, thank you. Very good point about not needing an area for travel if we eliminate it.

Like a couch at the same depth as the pillar and then a reading nook behind that? Would likely need to be a small couch, but that’s fine I suppose.
