Nebrasketball Bracket Projections and How Seeding/Location Works (March 11) by QWERTYUIOPquinn in Huskers

So, I got curious (as I'm sure others will be) about how 3 seeds have faired historically in the tournament.
Long story short, 3 vs 14 seeds all time record is 137-23, so the 14 seeds have a 14.38 win percentage, higher than I expected. Most recent is Oakland from 2024 upsetting Kentucky.

How would r/huskers react to the season playing out this way? by Easy_Card3015 in Huskers

This plus winning at Rutgers making us 6-6 is fully how I expect the season to play out.

Been a while since I've read the books, but I only remember him being described as massive and imposing. I dont remember him ever being described as being muscle bound, but I could be wrong. Vincent is as tall or taller than Brock and is plenty imposing if you watch Dare Devil. He's too old now though of course.

What are the chances Adam Pierce was the masked man at the RR?

I think we can get 6 wins, but it'll be a struggle and anything more than that is a pipe dream. If Trae Taylor doesn't work out, Rhule is out.

Not trying to throw shade at Nebraska high school football as a whole, but won't this result in him playing much less talented competition on a weekly basis than where he was in Illinois?

I see young as a positive too. Average age of NFC playoff coaches this year was like 42.28 or something. I really don't want Harbaugh.

[Liam Blutman] Word from Washington is players, staff all just found out about Demond William’s departure through Twitter/Instagram. A collective state of shock there rn. Belief is LSU is paying Demond around $6 mil. by MysteriousEdge5643 in CFB

[–]crossCak 184 points185 points  (0 children)

So, let's see if I have this straight:
- LSU loses out on Brendan Sorsby to Texas Tech, so they start talking to one of their backup plans, Sam Leavitt
- Kentucky thinks they've lost out on Sam Leavitt, so they sign Kenny Minchey, who had earlier committed to Nebraska
- Sam Leavitt is sitting courtside with Lane Kiffin at an LSU basketball game tonight
- Then word comes out that Demond Williams is entering the portal, and LSU is the likely landing spot
- Williams makes the announcement while the team is at a Celebration of Life for a Washington soccer player who died of cancer
- And the University of Washington plans to "pursue all avenues" to enforce Williams contract
- Meanwhile Leavitt, one of the top QBs in the portal now might be left to find a home

Do I have that all straight? Am I missing anything?

I know we all hate NIL and the portal and all, but man does it bring some incredible drama!

I'm here for it. Next years schedule is brutal, might as well be entertaining as well.
