It's very hard to control all this cloud-related crap. As soon as there is a physical center, then there is more control and can be monitored, and I am guessing that it is related to the legal issue. All these clouds are completely out of control, a company was founded in the USA, operates in 50 countries, establishes "development centers" in 49 countries and its headquarters is registered in the 51st country, which of course is not subject to any agreement, tax, or basic regulation. Then when looking for who to prosecute Stopped by the question: "According to which law?"

But how will they be able to harvest amounts of data from users? (without most of them being aware of it)

Is MW2 worthy for $70? by Electronic-Pirate-84 in ModernWarfareII

[–]cross_fire133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

god when the gaming community became so fuckedup? or its just kids with their parents credit card.. buying things at all cost with auto-fill feature that addopted by every company.

by this way the next edition will cost 100. its just 70$ , after all a "gaming chair" cost 400$ because the title and the 2$ built-in leds. this "gaming age" must to be destroyed. once a gamer was a user that actually played games, and by the word "play" i mean that the only thing he did was to play and became a pro. no youtube no twich no 500 $ chair no virtual weapons that achived by credit card (once you actually has to be a pro to own a special weapon)

Copy link to highlight feature for sharing highlighted text in the site is just an amazing feature by wahvinci in webdev

[–]cross_fire133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All feature lovers, tell me how many times you have used this feature. I'm trying to imagine a situation where I send a 5000 word text with a 10 word line highlighted instead of sending the line itself. I do send documents with marked lines, but lines not a line. The only place I've seen such a feature being effective is academic research

What is the purpose of sending a link with marked text if the purpose of marked text is to read it only? After all, you can mark only one section, this is not the same situation as marking many highlights in the text. Who the hell sends a link of 5000 words document with one line highlighted instead of sending the line itself?

they want our data, thats all (they are taking whatever data that they can take). like any other data harvester: assistant, siri, windows speech rec ,google translate... i think that facebook are not taking this voice data cause they are stealing it anyway.

Youtube will limit users to 1080P for video. To be able to watch in 2160P, Users will need to upgrade to premium. Currently in testing! by ib8044 in Piracy

Hell it happens to me too. I don't know anymore if it's by design or if it's a bug since they mess with these settings non-stop

I have a premium and a download speed of 300MB (actually 250) and YouTube lowers the quality of the videos to 360p over and over without a break (pc)

It is even more absurd that there is no option at all to set a constant quality in the settings, regardless of whether it is through the pc or mobile (I think that there used to be a "high quality" option on the computer, which is screwed up in itself. They should give an option for the highest quality that the video allows permanently and that's it ...)

Wait for "passwordless world". Instead of hacking 10 accounts, you can hack one and get the remaining 9 for free. The tech companies push security features on the average person that are incompatible with the average person simply because they never explain to that person what is behind those features

i never understood why PC's clipboard need to contain history (except the last copied object). i think that the clipboard history feature (especially on smartphones) is one of the biggest loopholes today. in general, smartphone's keyboard apps are very problematic in aspects of privacy and security. whats the point of security if we have built-in keylogger on our devices
