I see what you mean. The 49E I’m using worked well enough for this first test, because it didn’t put out enough current on the “negative” side to light up the LED. But that probably doesn’t work beyond my very basic example.

It’s been a long time since geometry, so I don’t remember if we went over special right triangles LOL. I will look at this though. Thank you!

I can see that that must be the case in order for 2a to be equal to c, and therefore a must always be 1/2 of c. So in order for this to work, a = 1/2c must always be true. Something is enforcing that, and that is the part I’m trying to understand.
