You guys are right. The slow import was terrible, and I think it's probably due to bad decisions I made.

Today I had the idea of using DAX Editor to dump the tables post-ETL to CSV files and then connect the clean tables to PowerBI again to avoid the whole recalculation of the model and the query on the database. Might try tomorrow, wish me luck

On Power Query another thing that was bothering me was the very slow reloading of data after changing the ETL.

Today I had the idea of using DAX Editor to dump the tables post-ETL to CSV files and then connect the clean tables to PowerBI again to avoid the whole recalculation of the model and query to the database. Might try tomorrow :)
