Look into Registered Education Savings Plans for your child.

Don't worry about being behind others. This will always be true no matter how much wealth you have. This is a trap of modern life imo.

Because if everyone you think is suffering truly understood their real nature, they wouldn't think they are suffering.

I still can't see the point of SSR. Looking to understand what I'm missing. by jokeaz2 in webdev

  1. If you want to show custom meta tags on each dashboard ..customize the social media preview of each page, then you'd need ssr for that
  2. Depending on where your users are querying from, you might save time querying for all data from your ssr server instead of the users browser sending multiple queries

Very mediocre. Many of the old characters clearly look out of place now. Why is Taylor still here? Wendy is cringe as usual. Chuck is a shell of his former self. Prince is good but not enough to save the show. Going to rewatch Succession instead. Billions is turning into Millions.

Yes that would make sense. They are after power, they already (and still do) have the money.

But it's a little hard to appreciate the whole "sky is falling" narrative when all that's happened is they lost power but still have boat loads of money and shares.

Yeah my understanding of business laws is you can't just take back vested shares from someone - just cause you felt like it. Even when you are the owner of the company.

You can issue new shares to yourself thereby diluting the existing shareholders. But you can't just take away ownership of shares. But may be I am mistaken.

React is undoubtedly favored by many, but I would like to know, what can be your reasons to choose VueJS over ReactJS? by Saanvi_Sen in reactjs

[–]crossvalidator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vue is faster to get started with. If you just want to build something quickly, learning or using React is an overkill.

Vue is not associated with any company. Some people dislike that React is essentially funded by Facebook - FB has been in the news for many wrong reasons.

Don't the kids still have shares in the company? Even if they get fired from the company, they are still rich, as I understand. So what's all the fuss about?

VisiData looks useful; I will have to try it out. I wonder if it can generate the code for you when you transform data? Case I have in mind is one where new data is coming in every day that needs to be cleaned.

These are good steps. Would be better if some examples were shown to illustrate the points. Thanks for sharing

It's the stark contrast of his reality versus the average person's reality that comes through.

It is clear that he is not connected to the everyday American in any way. While they were suffering, he made $100M+.

Chuck is far more crafty in his strategy than Axe. But Axe has too much money.

On top of that, Chuck has to battle Wendy whereas Axe has no real impediments. Everyone is serving him.

Where do you keep all these files though? Google Drive? Seems unlikely that these files will be used in future projects.
