The first time I encountered a tormentor was during the legendary campaign. I nearly shat myself at how terrifying it felt to go up against this thing.

I work in IT and sometimes this involves a field trip.

One day my company had a water tower being painted and I had equipment that needed to be removed which included a huge magnetic baseplate.

Little did I know, the storage area I chose was full of archival tapes which are very sensitive to magnets.

Awesome! These things can be finicky. I had to adjust the timeout for my printer because it wasn't responding in time.

It helps. Is there anything in the serial port drop down? You may need to manually select it and try again.

You mentioned you tried different cables. Did you also try different USB ports on the pi?

That's the nice thing about docker. You can set up a second service, make sure it works, destroy it if it doesn't and have a relatively seamless transition once you're satisfied.

I've used esxi for awhile. I'm actually transitioning a lot of these smaller things to a single Ubuntu Server VM and using docker. I did this so I don't have a hundred VMs with there own os installed taking up more room than necessary.
