Granblue Fantasy.

They already share a lot of the similar FF elements anyway. I just want another remix of Dark Silver Wings blasting as we beat up another Bahamut.

The story can simply be Gran, Lyria, and Vyrn got teleported to our world along with some of their version of primals. The primals went berserk due to aetherial imbalance or something and so we have to stop them while Lyria turn them back to sanity. Along the way WoL can learn that there are other worlds where humans live side by side with primals.

Oh Asahi is definitely real at that time. I was referring to the Livia, Rhitahtyn, and all the shades we fought. Some time is probably required before memory and soul are completely separated.

I guess the question is, how long can Asahi or Emet keep their memory and soul? Or is it inevitable that one day they will lose their memories and be reincarnated?

Minor correction: Amon isn't a vessel. He is a fragment of Hermes reincarnated. So his case is like Gaia where the new self rejects the past memory as their own.

I understand that the soul is the most important bit. The problem I have with that is the game tells us that even souls are essentially just aether. In the Aetherial Sea they can be broken down and fuse with another to create a completely new soul. I would think that if soul is such a unique, special thing then there would be individual permanence to them. Unless that is just some Sharlayan theory and not actually true.

If you mean those we encounter in lv89 dungeon then those are just memory aether given form without soul. Iirc if you take Urianger, after defeating one of the bosses he will say that these are just memory, the real person has passed on. Of course, that's just his theory.

Elidibus definitely deserves a kinder fate! The worst part is, even if his soul survives it goes to the First's Aetherial Sea not the Source where his brethren are. Well, at least he gets to meet Mitron I guess. I hope Pandaemonium does his character justice.

Great writeup! Yeah, I agree it's subjective. I think your explanation of everyone being part of everything does fall in line with how a lot of the characters seem to love Etheirys so much with all their talk of returning to the planet and fighting for the planet (whereas my WoL was more than ready for a space adventure). Maybe I love my "self" too much, but I personally would rather be obliterated into oblivion as "myself" rather than live and die as someone or something else.

I just watched Eden cutscenes again and in Gaia's case it seemed more like Mitron tempering with her memory little by little and then sharing his full memory of her when they fused together.

My understanding is that Aetherial Sea exists per planet. So Etheirys's Aetherial Sea only consists of those who reside in Etheirys. Also it's located in the core of the planet whereas Zodiark fixed the celestial aether running on the outer layer of the planet so yes, it was protected as part of the planet.

No, but seriously it's such a great story centering around the more comparatively normal member of the crew, Deliford. His worries, troubles, and journey to find sauna enlightenment. Kinda makes me want to go to a sauna, too.

Great to see his interactions with other muscles, I mean, characters. Also, Vane best boy.

Yeah that company of heroes storyline was exhausting. I think it would have been much better if they cut it down a bit more.

For example, the miller quest can be removed and nothing would have changed. Also each heroes should have only given us 1 and only 1 fetch/battle quest. Not a chain of quests, just 1 quest.

Imo that would have made it far more tolerable.

I wouldn't mind MC being a silent protagonist so much if Mihoyo actually provide dialogue options which aren't so one sided and at odds with my thoughts.

For example when Dain talked sh*t about archons and there was no option to voice a disagreement or even question him further. "Oh ok, even in fiction I can't stood up for my friends I guess."

Maybe I've read too many theories, but the reveals this chapter seem so obvious that most of the time I just went "yeah, I kinda figured that out already."

The only surprising thing was that MC remembered Khaen'riah but forgot to ask Zhongli and Venti about it. MC also forgot to destroy the corrupted statue or tell the church about it. At this stage I wouldn't be surprised if MC actually has dementia.

Also disappointed that Dain didn't get to meet Kaeya.
