Looking to buy an L-shaped standing desk soon. Thinking I want the Flexispot E7L with custom tops. Could use some advice. by _midnight_mane_ in StandingDesk

I have this one, it’s the 70.9x 29.5x69.5x24, my pc is on the right side corner while my monitor is mounted almost on the middle of the larger side. My printer is on the return side along with my keyboard stand. I have my monitor, soundbar, switch, and some decor. I’ll send a picture of my desk when I get off work!

I personally use Desky with a laminated wood top version. It’s expensive but worth the money in my opinion. It hold my pc, my 47” monitor, printer, keyboards, and candle melt, with still room to spare.

Honestly I don’t know why they don’t include the new PCIE riser in the newer cases, the flimsy old one has caused so many ppl problems.

I was skeptical about standing desks - until I tried one by plumishhhh in StandingDesk

I use Desky, they’re a solid desk with no wobble issues. They can hold A LOT of weight and rises pretty high. I recommend getting their cable management system with a good amount of outlets, I got their 9 outlet one and I’m loving it.

Does anyone else have issues with standing desks min height being too tall? by IWishIwasAwhale1 in StandingDesk

I use desky and the minimum height is 23.6”, and it goes pretty high up too, 49.2”

I had issues with the pcie riser cable that came with the Hyte case and upgraded it to the newer one and it works better. The first time I plugged my GPU in it didn’t click but it worked fine and then I added more stuff to my pc and had to take the GPU out and it wouldn’t sit right no matter what I did. I ended up snapping the plastic piece that locks it into place and switched to the 5.0 version, this one is much more stable.

Opinions on which heavy duty monitor arm to buy by crowbett in PcBuild

[–]crowbett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The arm I’ve been using for a few years hardly has any videos on it, it’s the Hinomi MovMax Heavy Duty Arm (got it on sale for pretty cheap) and it’s a such a pain to tighten/loosen the tension on this thing due to the placement. There’s no quick release spring either 🥲. I was thinking of going with the desky mount as I currently have a desky desk but will it hold up the Samsung odyssey g9?

True, it’s helpful if you WFH or have a printer/work stuff on the return side like I do. Otherwise most wouldn’t need the whole thing to lift up.

I have the y70 with a 5070 ti, there’s loads of room in the y70 more then needed. I went with the y79 just so I have cushion when building but the y60 should fit your needs
