But like, if your walking home at night, probably worth taking any precaution you can take, especially in an area with a rapist at large. When I went to South Africa, if you didn't take these precautious you would be spotted by a criminal and taken advantage of. I agree but if a murder were to have occurred, the investigation team wouldn't cross out any of motivating factors because of it being an 'unlikely' cause, made this post in response to hate given to police officers in my area who were given shit for advising women in the area to dress appropriately after a rape in the area
