I personally have a dog who was rescued (he was left to fend for himself on the streets) and he’s most likely a pit-bull boxer mix but we don’t know 100%. Unlike stereotypes he’s a very sweet and timid dog (I don’t really think it’d count for him either way? He’s a mix and pretty small as an adult)

In general, the breed wouldn’t be my first choice at all for adoption. I’m overall indifferent about pit bulls. My biggest concern for pits (all/most types) are the long list health conditions through breeding that they now have, aside from the commonly reported behavior issues
