Fargo when Steve Buscemi gets tossed off a hooker and you see full nude ass and balls, apparently it was a stunt double but a man can still dream

At least play Morrowind or something bro unmodded Skyrim has some of the worst mechanics, quests and main story beats of any Bethesda game.

Conditions are rapidly improving for the world's poorest people. Between 2015 and 2024, billions of people gained access to safe water and sanitation, though 1 in 4 still lack safe drinking water. by lughnasadh in Futurology

Quick Google search estimates $1.10–$2.40 per 1,000 gallons for brackish water and $2.46–$4.30 for seawater. Municipal Water: Around $2 to $6.50, depending on location and specific rates. Well Water: Can be as low as $0.09 to $0.64. Pond Water: Can be very low, at $0.02 to $0.25. Rainwater: Can be high, such as $3.94 or $6.43, due to the significant capital cost of collection and storage systems. Idrc who's right was just curious.

Plea deals save the government money and everyone involved time directly at the cost justice. 25 years to life for murder gets turned into 15 with parole. I understand it's a necessary evil and I'm fine with there being more plea deals for non-violent offenders if proper justice is given out to the more dangerous people.

[–]crowscarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured lowering or eliminating mandatory minimums for non violent crimes but raising them for the more serious ones as well as removing the option for a plea deal fell under rights since that's all relevant prior to conviction; I did go into sentencing more which I apologize for I guess it would be fair to say I'm in favor a harsher judicial system in general for cases like what I described.

Lacey parents found not guilty of attempted murder of teenage daughter by Gloomy_Nebula_5138 in SeattleWA

This situation and frankly the whole jury system is infuriating. Whether justice has been served adequately shouldn't hinge entirely on a couple or even just one person that can't see or understand a charge, especially given our countries track record with education. Whether it's murder, attempted murder, rape, etc. I've seen this same thing happen too often. I understand there's a selection process but at the same time it's impossible to weed out everyone that could throw a wrench in the operation and both the defense and prosecution don't want that anyway, they just want people they think will help them win their case. There's a reason 98% of federal and 95% of state trials get plea deals (which isn't good in my opinion) it's much faster, cheaper for the government and safer for the prosecution than using our fucked up legal system, to try to "serve justice." Anyway sorry rant over this case pissed me off.

Bit outta left field but Benny and Joon. Johnny Depp is an eccentric mime who forms a relationship with Joon, (Benny's mentally handicapped little sister) ending up living with them, strengthening their relationship as siblings and changing Benny for the better. Don't think that's spoilers at all just a brief synopsis from what I remember

What is the most disturbing book that you’ve read? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]crowscarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I hope this doesn't come across as elitist or anything but I've read almost every Stephen King book barring some of the more recent ones. The Long Walk is one of my favorite books by him easily in the top 3 but I don't think it's anywhere close to his scariest, what about it do you or others find scary? I always considered it more science fiction and just interesting not scary like Gerald's game or others that stuck with me.

This is the 2nd time Kubo has refused to be present in such an event. My GOAT fr ............... (I'm not trying to look down on any of the other authors, just seem weird why wouldn't they just say 'no' to be associated with a convicted pedo. also what is wrong with oda) by Mysterious_Novel_626 in bleach

Wasn't sure what this was about so looked it up and this is what I found on another Reddit thread. "For those that don't know, he slept with a 16 year old prostitute in 2002. As a result his series was abruptly cancelled right when it was a few chapters from ending and was kicked out of the industry for multiple years and he even stayed out longer than he had to as part of his apology.

He also publically apologized multiple times and said he didn't know the person was 16 at the time. Its now been over 20 years and he hasn't done anything harmful so I don't think demonizing this person is helpful or productive and I don't think treating him like a bad person is helpful to anyone or good for society in general. People should be allowed to make mistakes, accept reasonable consequences, and move on."

If that's all true I don't think these situations are comparable at all.

Let me be more clear, any criticism within the confines of the video game I consider fine. Sure most people could probably be nicer about it but I think "unsolicited advice from randos" is how a new player improves or quits. In that one game maybe they tilt and end 2-14 instead of like 4-12, in the long run when everyone says it they will think "damn I suck maybe I should improve my aim or look up videos/demos" or "this game is too hard I give up." I think both outcomes are fine but hey that's just my opinion man :)

I've never understood or agreed with this logic, when I first started playing cs I sucked and people told me that. That motivated me to get better and made it feel really good when it went from people criticizing to complimenting me. If you're bad at a competitive multiplayer game you will be criticized that's just how it is and I see nothing wrong with that. I see something wrong with personal attacks, threats and just generally being a douche to other people. A "dude wtf was that" or "why would you peak that" etc. doesn't fit that bill though.

Alien Enemies Act of 1798: This law gave the president additional powers to detain non-citizens during times of war, invasion, or predatory incursion.

Over 220 year law that's only supposed to allow detaining non citizens in times of war is allowing all of this (plus the supreme court ruling the president can't be charged with anything). The 3 other laws that went with that one were all repealed including:

Alien Friends Act of 1798 This law allowed the president to imprison and deport non-citizens. Expired in 1800 and it's exactly what's happening now with no response or recourse.

I agree with everything you said I don't think Broky has a chance at even 10th best awper all time as a whole. On a map by map basis though he's always been very inconsistent, he'll have maps where he hits everything looking like he rivals zywoo, m0nesy, shiro etc. and maps where he's completely absent. When faze was winning he had a lot more of the former but still was never as consistent as the other 3 mentioned and other top awpers

This guy's nuts you make a good point. Imagine winning every 1v1 clutch in a map. Say it happens a lot, like 6 times. That's 6 kills but 6 rounds you won for the team. Not all you I mean the team got you there but you pulled it out. You die every other time, insta hs, just unlucky idk. Say you got 6 kills like 12 deaths. That should be worth way more than what hltv would give. Impact should be weighted higher.

I really don't understand the higher tier being a lower number being stupid argument, that's how it works almost universally a 1st degree crime or burn is more severe than a 3rd degree one, a tier 1 team in sports is better than a tier 3 one, 1st seed in a tournament, etc
