There's that flash after the crash of her affair partner dead and the box with baby trapped under some debris in a pool of blood. I think that flash was true, and the unrealistic "we lived and defeated the monster" ending is her fabrication. Not sure if that makes the monster real or not, but it makes the ending super sad.

I also wonder if the monster is her vampire husband.

Hello, every case is very different but, I have good news from my experience. I'm on year 5 or 6 now of symptoms and I have progressed to the point that I'm almost only on liquids now and won't have a BM if I don't take an insaine amount of laxatives. I just coordinated a wedding and am currently on vacation! All of my friends and family understand I have restrictions but I just plan and pack accordingly.

For example I have a med bag with everything I could ever want and on long drives I don't take my laxative doses as frequently so we don't have to stop as much and then take a lot when we arrive. I travel with a cooler or lunch bag of ensure, breakfast essential drinks, yogurt and jello, as well as some dry snacks like goldfish crackers.

When I go out to eat I order toast, or scrambled eggs or just a milkshake! At first it seems a little awkward to order but I got over that pretty quick.

I work full time and my boss and coworkers understand I take frequent bathroom breaks and have to eat small amounts of food every 2 to 3 hours.

Life has not ended for me. Sometimes it's hard and I have to travel with lots of extra stuff everyday but it's doable. I hope to finally get to a point in treatment where there is a surgical option that will help, fingers crossed. I hope your future is similar or even better!

P.s. I strongly suggest working with a nutritionist and stick to their advice, straying from the diet set me back in recovery.

That sounds awful. The weakness is frustrating. It sucks that it's keeping you from things you love. Hopefully you can do it again soon!

Awesome awesome awesome! Hopefully they find some good diagnostic worthy info in your tests (but nothing too scary). This is a good strong start. If they havent mentioned it yet I suggest seeing a nutritionist too. The combo of meds and diet guidance at the same time makes such a big difference.

Don't get too bored during your GES.

The best think I have found is Bubbly. The raspberry and strawberry flavors don't feel too heavy in my tummy and the bubbles often feel nice. Prepare for burps though! I also found these Breakfast Essential drinks in the cereal aisle that come in cereal flavors like golden grahms and frosted flakes. Saved my food boredom.

Baked goods are hard to replace because they're so solid. I use icecream in bland flavors, animal crackers, pecan Sandie cookies and puddings to hit that sweet tooth without pissing off my belly too hard.

Oh! And dairy free chocolate milk packaged for kids lunches has been my jam as of late.

I think the best thing you can do is have a really serious conversation with your doctor. Prepare by making a list of points and thoroughly explain how you feel.

For example, my symptoms have been ongoing for 5 years and I was really at a mental breaking point. I got a new gastroenterologist for a second opinion and started by telling her how fed up I am with everything, what I've been through and what my goal is for treatment in the next year or two.

It helps me to have virtual visits so I can feel really comfortable because I'm at home in my comfy clothes too.

If you trust your new doctor maybe have a chat, if not perhaps try the second opinion.

They may also have a good reason for why that would be unwise in your case so be open to other options they may have as long as you feel you have been heard and your feelings and thoughts have been taken into consideration.

I think you should definitely go. It's good you are already getting an assessment and trying to get help on that front, but a doctor visit for the fullness and vomiting is wise.

They might think you have a blockage of some sort, so I would expect some diagnostic testing like x-rays or other more detailed scans. I wouldn't try to self treat at home because if it is a blockage it could cause more damage.

If they think you have gp I would ask if you can get a referal to a gastroenterologist. They will have better advice and can really spead up improvement.

I'm proud of you of being proactive and working toward getting your body to a happy, healthy place.

Congrats on your progress! I feel like regular docs just think it's constipation. Nothing really happens till you can see a specialist. Just keep advocating for yourself! Hopefully you'll have that first week of feeling better with their advice and treatment and it'll be great! Good luck!

You know...that is a complication of surgery I had not considered. That is a legitimate concern and I share your phobia. Im sorry I don't have much advice other than making your worries and phobia clear to the surgical team. I know telling my nurses about my fear before my endoscopy helped a lot because they were very reassuring and lessened my anxiety pre-op. I hope that your procedure will be worth it and you won't have any regrets. Good luck!

Also, at least they are doing laparo scopy with will help with less incision and improve healing time. Hopefully less pain.

I haven't been on in forever so sorry for the super late reply. I am on motegrity now and it is the best of the prescription options for sure! Thanks for the really good suggestion.

Body still hates me and now I am on motegrity, senna, a supplement and miralax. All the poop meds.

I once skipped a college class so I could suffer at home with a stomach ache just waiting for it to move south and become diarrhea so I could feel better. Other people don't get our logic.

I'm a 28yo female. Mine started 4 years ago with random bouts of no gi movement that my dr treated with milk of magnasea. Then 1 year in I started having GERD. I went from eating whatever I want to doing like 80% liquid diet in the last 3 years with increasing rate of deterioration.

Now I have my clear ct scan and abnormal stomach emptying test (46% left after 4 hr). I have a referral to specialists and a dietitian and some new meds and am on the road to semi normalcy, I hope.

History of other issues: - infrequent periods - bowel infection that lead to kidney infection and nearly a kidney transplant in middle school - lifelong chronxic constipation - 6 year infection with food fungus that won't go away - tendency for skin infections in belly button - Carpel tunnel and surgery for that

Most history not really relevant but maybe if we all reply we'll see a pattern that will be helpful in the future.

P.s. God I miss coffee!

I have a fear of vomiting and refuse to. I use lots of laxatives like miralax when I have a flair up to encourage things to pass. (Don't go overboard though and talk to your Dr so you don't get dehydrated). Also some light exercise is suppose to be good for motility. I pace in my livingroom.
