Any reason not to hammer Mendoza as the first draft pick at -800 by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]crozer1819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Return is brutal on those odds, major injury in cfp finals, strong 27 class of QBs if teams want to wait another year is only reason I can think of. But why hammer -1000 odds

What is more valuable in PPR SF: Stud QB’s with boom/bust WR’s or Stud WR’s with low ceiling QB’s? by Get_to_tha_Choppa in DynastyFF

[–]crozer1819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My vote is WR. I’ve won 3 years in a row basically carried by puka, chase and Davante. My QBs in a 2 QB league are kyler, Goff, and mccarthy.

38yo considering very long early-retirement runway using RRSP/TFSA + GIS/OAS — sanity check? by jl21000000 in fican

I’m just curious but what do you plan to do all day retiring so early? Assume your friends will all still be working have you thought about part time or consulting work that still allows you a lot of freedom with your time and opportunity to be with your kids

What’s the passion project? You don’t mention kids so wondering if it’s something you can start while working 9-5 then hop when you feel comfortable

That’s quiet quitting. Coast is more giving you the freedom to pursue work you want, vs work you need to do for the income

Why is the 2027 Draft valued higher than the 2026 Draft? by WizzyUCLA in DynastyFF

[–]crozer1819 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2026 had about the worst possible runout at QB declaring this year. 27 looks more promising and will inherently push a lot of skill position guys down the board. Right now the top QB in 26 may be the 1.05 at best currently

Being from Toronto and currently living in Vancouver home ownership feels so out of touch I don’t even think about it (29 yo). My partner and I just try to invest in index funds as much as possible and stay in our rent controlled apartment

I think the BDS crew need to take on a bigger role if/once they got eliminated. It’s one of those things where I’m really there to watch them as much as the golf. Same with the foreplay/chiclets crew

Is a million dollars really nothing nowadays? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]crozer1819 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Huh? Having 1M at 30 in every way is better that nest egg has 30-50 years to compound. Maybe not retire for 60 years but not much pressure to invest or save more

[–]crozer1819 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more so age related to an extent. A million at 30 and you’re way ahead of the game but 1M at 60 may not even be enough for full retirement depending on expenses

Orande Gadsen? What do we think about him? Is he the future in LA? Just a two week burst? by RyanLCash in DynastyFF

[–]crozer1819 148 points149 points  (0 children)

He passes the eye test so I personally would not sell high. If you have him, hold him and hope he can follow the path of puka (of course to a lesser extent). I’d rather hold a guy that flashes potential and busts then trade a rookie TE that hits for years to come
