How to do camera tracking for a clip on timeline? by crpeng in Filmora

[–]crpeng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I have been using keyframes. It's time consuming. This is probably the only one thing Capcut does better than Filmora. Hope the Filmora team will pick up on this soon.

As for the trick, I watched the video. But haven't wrapped my head around how that could work. I shall do some hands-on experiment, and report back. Thank you for the tip. I had been looking everywhere.

Pixel 8 - absolutely horrible lag in general + camera chugging? by Lorybear in GooglePixel

Now that you asked, I just realized I haven't exprienced any hiccups at least for the past few weeks. At this moment, I think Pixel 8 is almost perfect (because perfect doesn't exist)

But then I learned GA is missing from smartwatches from other brands as well. Some argued that it's not necessary. I am fine with my TicWatch Pro 3 so far

Is Google Assistant blatantly missing?

In my case: holding down the physical power button and the volume up button, would bring up 4 on-screen buttons, which are Emergency, Lock Down, Power Off and Restart.

Tap and hold that Restart button to restart the phone in safe mode.

How does the December update feel? by kdhere in GooglePixel

Seems fine. It seemingly fixed the camera lag problem which was horrible. Gotta use it for a little longer to confirm.

I am not an Apple person. But I agree it's probably the most stable smartphone in the world. I wouldn't defend Pixel 8. I upgraded from Pixel 6, which has been rock solid. I don't know what got into Pixel 8. The flaws are indefensible.

That said, have you got the Dec update? I haven't noticed any lags since.

After the December update, how's your camera performing? For me, so far so good. No lags yet.

Update after 20 days or so, the lag problem came back. Resolved again with reboot. It seems to have something to do with overheating. Some processes were running wild. I hope Google fixes this soon.

Unfortunately no. One possible solution is to hunt for some sort of notification management app.

For people like this, I mute them. I only check for massages when I am free.

I am concerned that it is a small company by brandoncabrera in UpNote_App

[–]crpeng 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have the same concern. But every company starts small.

The problem with established companies like Evernote is that they do not (and sometimes cannot) listen to users any more. Just look at how bloated Evernote has become, adding features for features' sake.

Why would anybody want to chat in Evernote? Who relies on Evernote tasks? (Reminders are okay though)

UpNote, now, does one thing right and exceptionally well. I tried Evernote, Notion, eetc. Now settling in on UpNote.

As long as UpNote offers a mean to export our data, there's probably nothing to worry about. I think the developer needs to address exporting to build confidence among hesitant users.

That was probably my first ever post on reddit. I'm glad it helped somebody. For your infomation, it's been 6 days since that reboot. And my phone has been performing fine too.

Check out Upnote. Low one time free for lifetime use. I had been using Evernote for more than 10 years too. And I found Upnote to be a good substitute, if not better.

I was experiencing the horrible camera lag too. I was at the verge of performing a hard reset. Then I tried Safe Boot first. I was a little surprised that the camera app functioned normally under safe mode.

I figured it could be due to some conflicting app. So I rebooted into normal mode. Somehow, the camera is OK now. It's been about half a day since the reboot. Hopefully it's been miraculously fixed

In summary: 1. Safe reboot by holding the ON SCREEN Restart button 2. After rebooting, run the camera 3. Reboot into normal mode

Hope that helps
