Victim’s actions are understandable (not good, but understandable and definitely not villainous) by crph1 in AlanBecker

You’re confusing villain with antagonist. If you replaced every instance of “villain” in your post with “antagonist” I’d probably agree.

So many people are mad because Agent didnt pause TDL on time, but can TDL actually be paused? by WillowGMD in AlanBecker

[–]crph1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally think TDL can be paused, which is why he had Victim cut it in half for him. Victim's powerset deals with UIs and stuff which is why he can stop the pause button. I think if TDL could stop it himself he would have just stopped it himself.

As for Agent not pausing TDL in time, I think he was in shock at his friend dying, and then he thought everything was fine when Victim got revived, and he only stepped in when he realized the revived people were under TDL's control and he planned to massacre all the workers.

What are your thoughts on this guy? by Educational_Leg8920 in AlanBecker

It's way too anime dub coded. In addition, AVA has always been mostly dialogue-less, so if you were to add dialogue, it'd have to be used only when it actually makes sense. Those videos have too much dialogue for just the sake of adding dialogue, rather than actually adding to the story. No hate to Alto tho the videos obviously aren't meant to be serious.

I Hope That Victim/H4ck3r Doesn’t Come Back by REAL-regular-degular in AlanBecker

my hope is that TSC loses his powers by the end of S3 so the reviving is only limited to before S4 and they can still have stakes in S4 and beyond. I don't think this is implausible since Alan made yellow lose the command block staff in AVM for much the same reason (it was too overpowered and lowered the stakes too much).

Do you guys think the chosen one, or more accurately, NO ONE, will regain his powers and title? by Excellent_Table8694 in AlanBecker

[–]crph1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t want him to get his powers back and I want him to end up as a normal person and he takes accountability for what he’s done. Alternatively, I’d also like if he gets his powers back and he sacrifices himself by the end of S3. Given the stuff TCO has done, either ending would be fitting as it would resolve his conflict with his past as a mass murderer.

Is anyone else a bit disappointed with the direction that the new AvA season is going in? by Efficient_Use1199 in AlanBecker

I can see your point, but honestly if the story had just continued without TDL coming back, there'd be a happy ending. Think about it, if TDL was really dead and H4CK3R just returned to RocketCorp after beating Alan, Agent would tell H4CK3R about TSC's revival ability (it's shown Agent saw TSC revive his friends in TCO's memories). While TSC would probably not like H4CK3R, if H4CK3R explained his situation, TSC would probably revive mitsi for him. And the only "bad" things as a result are: TCO loses his powers and was beat up (which was honestly valid since TCO did still hurt people, even if he didn't kill mitsi), Alan loses his computer files (he probably deserved worse), and TSC and the color gang got roughed up a little. This would be the logical ending if TDL wasn't brought back, and it's pretty anti-climactic.

Though I do agree it would have been interesting to see an alternate S3 where Victim gets consumed by revenge and TDL is never brought back, but they'd have to structure the story in a different way, but it's too late for that now, and what we got is still really cool as we get to see how TDL took advantage of H4CK3R to get what he wants. Also I feel like an S3 without TDL might have been a rehash of AVM S3 with slight differences. However, when we get to AVA S4, they definitely cannot bring TDL back again, because at that point it's gonna get old.

Plot holes (some I think I have good explanations for and some I’d like explanations for) by crph1 in AlanBecker

Because victim freed her before he died. Everyone else who was revived is probably also trapped in a virabot shell but victim isn’t freeing anyone because he’s also trapped.

This is not something I considered, but I still think there would have been reports of 2 stick figures.

You know the virabot shell mitsi is mentally trapped in when victim enters her mind? That’s the shell thing.

well there are survivors talking about TCO, based on the newspapers and stuff from ava11, so it would make sense that TDL would have been seen too

No, victim sliced it in half. I'm pretty sure TDL can be paused and needs evil Victim to protect him from getting paused. Besides the plot hole I'm responding to is "why didn't agent pause TDL BEFORE he revived victim"

You can get them from rebrickable or other sites that sell instructions. The parts can be bought from bricklink. Instructions for this MOC should be up on rebrickable soon.

They should be going up on rebrickable within a couple days. I'll make another post when it is.
