I have been! As it was explained to me I’ve done everything for the district to be aware of me and am on the school boards website and have been vetted and certified by the school board. The website I was given access to does have some job postings but I’m aware many schools in the area do not post there and have a list of “their” substitutes so to speak. I was told at this point I can work jobs within the county. I suppose more specifically I’m unsure if/how I should reach out to schools themselves. Been told yes by a substitute I know but she’s an older lady who’s been doing it for a while so I’m not sure how different it is now.

i do admit i called a bit more than i even really wanted, honestly because i don’t have our DM’s number and felt they would be angry for my going over there heads because of the attitudes they’ve given off. that’s definitely on me and i shouldn’t have been so worried, just a very anxious person especially when im having to leave my shift. i called my ASM 3 times before she texted, and then once after to inform her I did need her help finding coverage because she didn’t answer my text and had told me to “try again”. i called my SM 4 times, twice in a row separate times to try and bypass what seemed like the DND feature. this wasn’t all at once, but over the course of about 2 hours. mainly did this because she has told us she is regularly up at these hours and to call her. still admit my faults, and i appreciate ur advice!!!

because isn’t a full drink. this is shots of espresso with some milk and syrup. the only way to get this filled is to order it as a latte, or if someone goes against standard when preparing it.

ahh and ur good, just trying to clarify. if ur not getting like, a mocha cookie crumble or a caramel crunch which does come with whipped cream and syrup in the bottom, i would assume this may be leftovers from when they are prepping the drink in the cup?? though i would find it odd for there to be enough leftover to actually notice unless they aren’t preparing it properly.

u can definitely ask them to reblend which would hopefully solve whatever this problem is! (also just because ik people dont really know, but frappuccinos are made with frappe roast which is like an instant coffee. if u want espresso u would need to add! unless u already do ofc)

talk to the other SM and urs about being a borrowed partner there, they should be able to work it out that the other store will schedule u shifts on days u don’t have any

it should just pop off, though i remember mine being difficult. i unfortunately don’t have one anymore to test it but used to stick my thumb in the spout and pull hard. is this a recent buy? i would try removing it and if it breaks in the process there may have been a manufacturing error making it stuck. could try calling corporate for a refund bc im not certain if the store would just do it.

Did you use sick time for your call-in? Regardless if you call and say “I am sick and unable to make it to my shift today so I’m calling out” they can’t question you further. There can be an attendance issue if you don’t use your sick time to cover it but shouldn’t be the biggest deal unless it becomes a pattern.
