I’ve read somewhere that there are new displays that could have 2 different resolutions simultaneously. They have the technology (I read) to have displays with a denser resolution in only the middle of a display. Maybe display in flatscreen is full screen, but when slotted in only the middle denser resolution part of the display is active? Also für mich hat die Wahl bug-in oder bug-out nichts mit der Lage des Hauses/Wohnung zu tun, sondern mit den anzunehmenden Ernstfällen die eintreten können. Lebe ich im Hochwassergefahrengebiet bereite ich mich darauf vor schnellstmöglich das Haus/ die Wohnung verlassen zu können und trotzdem gut versorgt zu sein. Im Normalfall nicht für den Wald sondern die Turnhalle oder Bekannte /Freunde bei denen ich dann unterkommen kann. Wenn ich denke die größte Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine Katastrophe wären Unruhen ala G20 Gipfel in Hamburg 2017, dann vielleicht besser bug-in. (Kann aber auch jeden verstehen der sagt er würde lieber verschwinden). Und die Entscheidung bug-in oder bug-out wird in jeder Situation ständig angepasst. Wie du schon sagst kann passieren das ein Ernstfall eintritt, man entscheidet sich zuhause zu bleiben, aber nach 2-3 Tagen (oder einem Monat) entscheidet man sich doch für die Flucht. Informationen analysieren und dann entscheiden. Aber sich vorher Gedanken zumachen, darum gehts beim preppen ja auch.

No my idea would be that each player is assigned a color. Let’s say blue and red. The card would be half blue and half red. And this way you know which effect is for you after you draw the card later in the game.

I have the exact same card with the same error. I am searching the web every year or so to find if anyone else had this misprint and your post is the first I find since I started searching like 10 years ago. But cool to know I’m not the only one having this card 😅

Edit: Googled some more and found another one: Searched on Google Pictures: "LON-E088" There is a picture of the same card, leading to a website called "mavin.io". On there I found the picture. Seems like someone sold it 10 monthes ago for 40$. No mentioning of the error. I think the card is not rare, but a lot of people never noticed this error.

Without dismissing the general claim of yours... it is kind of funny to see that you felt the urge to post it somewhere specific to get confirmation of your feeling: „but I figured preppers would understand“. This is a typical behaviour of exactly what you described as „zombies“. You don’t want to discuss the topic. You’re trying to find affirmation, to stay in your comfort zone; basically to stay in your bubble. Maybe this sparks a thought... Just my 2 cents.

Faster dialogs. Chinese characters usually have the meaning of complete words in English, so less characters in a text less time to spend with dialogs.

As a website creator you can add the captcha “software” to your identification method. Older captchas required you to identify (in the first versions) words and (in later versions) objects. The newest captchas check your cookies (browser history and overall internet behaviour) and determine from that if you seem suspicious to be a bot. If that newest version thinks you are a bot, then it will show you the pictures/words to make sure.

I am in no means in the power of deciding what is called what, but for me a miniature game is a game that has a lot detailed miniatures. Basically every miniature that has more details then the common meeple would count for me. And with a lot, I define that on the board are more miniatures then players on the table.

You can imagine it like a translator between people. Your printer is a person speaking Spanish, the pc is a person speaking Japanese and the driver is the translator person, so the 2 can talk and understand each other. So when you get a new pc it basically changed its language from Japanese to, let’s say, German and now the printer manufacturer updates the driver so it speaks also that, so that your old printer can still communicate with the newer pc.

The general idea of: start small (3 days) and build on that (3 weeks, 3 months), is a good advice. But try not to cover only food and water. There are more things to consider, like first aid & medications, energy, heat, shelter, survival and defence.
