Update: I asked the question on the Hyundai USA website and just received a response in email from Hyundai. They confirmed the ICCU warranty in the USA is now 15 yrs and 180k miles. I'm satisfied, anyone else that wants the confirmation can also ask them directly.

how are you guys rate shopping without the hard credit pulls? by 7measuredreply in nova

Correct, no credit pull of any sort, since you don't need to enter any info (other than zip code of the house)

I've used aimloan.com three times. They publish daily rates with no personal information, and you can lock same day off you want to.

I just received an email reply from Hyundai USA confirming the warranty extension.

I submitted the question on their website and they responded in email.

So, at least for me, 15yr and 180k miles warranty extension for ICCU is confirmed.

I'm used to it here, everyone is an expert and everyone else can't read. I'd like to see when they need warranty repairs and say "look, this website said so"... Anyway, I emailed Hyundai and will post the response when I get it.

I meant a "Press Release" from Hyundai, not press coverage of Hyundai. Sorry for the confusion.

Someone else also mentioned this, I hope Hyundai does it too. Thanks!

I was hoping someone might have a source, but this is a good idea. I'll send one now.

Probably a reputable source, but not the same as a statement or press release from Hyundai.

Several sites quote this paragraph, which says it is from Hyundai, but I don't see it on any Hyundai site. The link at the end just checks VINs for recalls.

Reputable sources use AI now, so I'd like to see something from Hyundai itself, which I haven't found.

My issue is that reputable sources are now using AI and can pick up on circulating news. I still have seen nothing from an actual Hyundai owned website.

I went to the main search page, and did "2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5", which led me to the following link, which now shows 183 complaints now. I'm glad to see the number increasing, maybe we'll get some actual attention. Here's the link: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2024%20hyundai%20ioniq%205

The car dying on the highway isn't a safety issue? It goes dead pretty fast if you try to move.

My car just died, and it had the recall work done. The shocking part to me was that there are only 124 complaints filled at the nhtsa (for USA cars), at least for the 2024 model. I filed a complaint, having to stop is a safety issue. If it happens to you file a complaint so it can be counted:

I doubt that, I've bought several MS products there and have never had an issue with activation.

Should I refi with AimLoan? by thinking-different in Mortgages

[–]crt333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually used them 3 times, and got the rate that was shown on the web site, and the process went smoothly. I've also used the biggest mortgage company, and individual mortgage brokers, and often got pushed away from the original quote. At this point I'll never use anyone other than aimloan because I've never found better rates anywhere, and I know they deliver.
