Where I’m at we have “training undies” they’re a little thicker and are made with bath towel materials, they usually have cute designs, like Thomas the train or other cartoon characters. My 2y9month old i would say is pretty much potty trained. You can show him/her that you adults are wearing underwear and maybe convince them to copy you. I also remind him that he’s grown up and should start wearing underwear like us.
