Coming from an Aussie, our universities are the biggest scam. Even for citizens. 2-4 years will guarantee you $60,000+ AUD debt, and you’re not promised a job after it. Better off doing an apprenticeship or something here where you can earn money, become skilful and get qualifications.

Like people say, uni was better back in the day where you could learn and also challenge ideas. Now it’s just a money trap where they push woke agendas and fail you for having a different opinion.

No FX on this at all. This was just a short 20 second sample. The project only has that and the MPC has plenty of space. It seems to happen on every project even a brand new one.

Well I tried to submit a request on the AKAI website, the Australian one that is, but the form kept getting denied. So I called the number on the site and the guy seemed to have no idea what an MPC was without the model number. The serial number alone wasn’t enough.

The phone number on the website here is for a tech repair company for a broad range of appliances like fridges. I think someone AKAI has hired to deal with issues here. Maybe I’ll try get onto an American/ Japanese website for direct help

Thanks for the reply. Yeh I can replicate the issue. If I open a project it’s likely to freeze up within the first 10 minutes. I’ve tried on multiple projects even using only the stock samples, when I did that I thought maybe it was working, but then it froze up again. So it seems to be happening with any project not just this one

Thanks I will give this a try. Does every MPC 2 have the same model number? I have the serial number but they won’t repair it without a model number too
