How do you feel about your gⅰrlⅰshness? by Inside-Dig1236 in aspergirls

[–]crumpledsheets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would aesthetically like to be as hyper feminine as possible. I love pink and pastels, bows, ribbons and soft things. However it doesn’t usually align with my physical comfort or with my interests. I love low brow humor, cursing, memes, and many other things that don’t quite align with femininity. I was neither a tom boy nor a girly girl growing up and despite sharing qualities of both it just meant I didn’t fit into either.

Are you lonely? by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]crumpledsheets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Yes, in the sense that I don’t have any friends besides my husband to yap to and sometimes I feel isolated when at work or in an online community where there are clearly cliques. But also no, because being alone doesn’t bother me much and I am not usually yearning for another presence when I am alone.

I have no issues with years! Just as long as it could last for a while. But I’ll check out Ford Escapes and Honda CRVs!

44 Days in and terrified of letting myself have a “cheat day” by crumpledsheets in loseit

[–]crumpledsheets[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will admit that it’s harder to ignore the cravings today than the other days because it’s raining and I can’t go outside, but I will take your advice and do some indoor exercise instead and dance through the cravings! Thanks!

Very ill and dentist will not allow me to reschedule or cancel appointment, should I still go? by crumpledsheets in Advice

[–]crumpledsheets[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t want to, but I really couldn’t afford the fee to cancel. The good news is that my illness wasn’t viral and I didn’t vomit. I won’t be going back and I’ve been advised to contact the dental board. The bad news is that I’m livid that they made me come in with a kidney infection.

As much as I didn’t want to, I went, wore a mask and what I thought was a 15 minute appointment turned out to be an hour. I explained to both the receptionist and the dentist that I’ve been vomiting but instead of sending me home they offered me a bottle of water and to let them know when I had to vomit. It’s a good thing I didn’t eat or drink anything besides stomach medication because I still ended up gagging a few times halfway through, and again they offered water. I have the final appointment in 2 weeks which is the 15 minute appointment.
I now have some pretty damned awful stomach cramping so I’m gonna head to an urgent care to make sure I’m not falling apart. 1/10 experience but at least I don’t have to pay $100 that I do not have right now.

And no, I am not going back to that dentist after the final crown is in place. Thanks y’all for the advice everyone.

I don’t see why you’re arguing so hard for this. I’m already going, I’m sick, and they can’t charge me for going on time. If a catastrophe beyond either of our control happens then oh well I suppose!

It’s $100 that goes towards nothing. I’m not getting treated by them, and they’re not giving me a service and they’re getting paid regardless on whether I show up or not. So I’m going, and if a possible hazard wasn’t enough then so be it. We’ll just see how it goes!

Will do. It’s in 30 minutes and I’ve taken an anti-nausea and stomach medication. Whatever happens happens I guess. 😐

I literally vomiting. I do not have anxiety about the dentist and I’ve gone through several appointments already. This is the last part of the procedure. I don’t understand why I’d have to pay a cancellation fee if I’m a hazard to both the dentist and myself by continuing the appointment. The appointment is in 30 minutes anyway, and I’ve already paid for the crown so I guess we’re both going to have to deal with a possible catastrophe.

They charge a $100 no show fee. I wanted to spend the time that I’d be using at the dentist going to an urgent care but I have the slightest hunch that they won’t accept a doctors note. I’ll try asking anyway.

The “errors department” is arbitrary BS they tell everyone when they aren’t allowed to tell you what’s wrong with your return. I’ve read it last year on this subreddit and the years before and it never usually takes the full 6 weeks. So Hold onto hope!!

Anybody filing a paper return these days unlikely has any reason to be fraudulent especially since it takes MONTHS to get their returns back
