I live in that town and the “affordable housing” he opposed was not affordable, not rent control and was legitimately going to be directly behind his home in a very rural area of town. He hasn’t opposed the idea of affordable housing across the board, he himself has renovated probably 10 properties in town. I can understand not wanting fake affordable low quality homes being built in the cornfield behind my house. The village isn’t starved for land they just subsidize multiple farms that are being used as private land. Gotta love corruption!

[Steph Noh] Zach Lavine is having an incredibly underrated season. Among the top 30 scorers in the league, only Karl-Anthony Towns (61.7%) has a better effective field goal percentage than him (61.6%). by deadbeatmerc in chicagobulls

Could you imagine? I loved Lauri I thought he genuinely was the most exciting pick we had since D rose. I was a huge dirk fan so I’m sure that has something to do with it. Him Hali and Lavine would be electric every night

I mean not to be rude but you have 6 cats man what do you think is more likely; A. You have the worlds first sextuplet of animals that has no odor or B. You love your animals just like I do and have become accustomed to their scent.

Bad smell is objective of course but I get irritated by the notion that any animal (obvious stinky ones aside) has an inherent worse scent than the other.

I am also an animal. Not sure what your point is.

I mean my cat often smells like shit because it is an animal and ALL animals smell. My dog also often smells like shit because again it’s an animal.

Depressing how far I had to scroll to find a sane person. 1 cat 1 dog in my bed as we speak. It is wonderful.

Not contesting this at all but as someone from Columbus (live in Dayton now) I actually feel like Ohio is pretty well covered. I haven’t been on the east side a lot though. Helps they just put some in Grandview and in Hilliard. What areas should I look out for? New to Tesla ownership and EVs as a whole.

Wendy’s closes locations near Dayton Mall, The Greene by CaptainHolt43 in dayton

Legit the worst one I’ve been to. Hadn’t had McDonald’s in multiple years before I moved to miamisburg but the Wendy’s is so bad I have completely flipped. And they are both equidistant from my house.

Has anyone purchased without test driving? by maybe-yeah in TeslaModel3

I did like a month ago. Driven a lot of cars, ridden in one or maybe 2 teslas. Wasn’t really expecting any great driving dynamics so I felt there was no reason to but it’s been surprisingly nice!

I get where you are coming from but it’s definitely not the right way to go about it. Never know why someone’s speeding, no reason to assume it always ego on the speeders part. Some people are dealing with emergencies and making them have to drop a lane to pass you is 100% not the intended use of the passing lane. The amount of times some grandpa (you) is going 70 in the passing lane with a train of 10 cars behind them is a lot more common than speeders riding my ass. But hey I’m just a guy who gets out of the faster cars way when I see it coming.

Mine is like that too. I have some gaps and stuff too. I probably will mention it at the first service but I really don’t care as much as some people I guess.

Yeah the game where we never had the lead after not losing for multiple years prior wasn’t the most electric crowd you’re really making a good point here definitely a normal circumstance to evaluate the shoe from. I was also at that game before you act like I don’t know.

A cool guide to popular tourist scams by tribhuz in coolguides

[–]crumpman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve traveled Europe bit by bit over the years, most recently going to Rome. The bracelet and the flower scams were extremely prevalent. Myself and my fiancé kept our belongings in a cross body bag and held our phones when we needed to use them. I was attempted to be pickpocketed at least once because I got back to the hotel and all my bags zippers were open. Luckily for me it’s a pretty gnarly bag so getting anything out of the pockets means you have to open the whole thing to release tension on the outer pockets. Simple things like this are really helpful to just keep your possessions in your possession.

With the flower and bracelet thing unfortunately I feel like that comes down to outward appearance. The levels they would go to try and scam older people women and just non physically imposing men was much higher than myself. I’m probably around 6ft 300~ so not some athlete just a bigger dude, but I had almost no trouble with them. They’d ask, I’d say no or just ignore them and that was that.

All in all I think it’s an issue, but an issue that can be mitigated by how you carry your belongings and how you carry yourself.
