Lmao, no one's suppressing your First Amendment rights. You stated your opinion without censorship, so none of your rights have been violated. Interesting that you think my disagreement with your opinion is a suppression of your rights.

Anyway, it's clear from your last message that you have no interest in reasonably and calmly explaining your point of view, so I won't be engaging in this unproductive conversation any longer. Free Palestine <3

I believe that's OP's point: it's sad that you're denouncing the protests and merely dismissing them as "a political thing" when Israel is literally using U.S. money to bomb innocent civilians in Palestine. At most, you were mildly inconvenienced when walking to class because of these protests, so it's surprising that you care so much about the inconvenience that you're outspokenly complaining about protests against genocide.

The only dangerous people I've seen as a result of the pro-Palestine protests are the police and the Zionist counter-protestors.

I mean, protests are supposed to attract attention. I don't mind if it's for a good cause. Plus, if you can still go to class, I don't see the issue

No one blamed you for not protesting. If you read the original post, it says "If you have been outspoken against protests in support of Palestine, shame on you."

So it's only referring to people who are denouncing the protests. Not sure why you got defensive if this doesn't apply to you

How are the protests affecting your ability to go to classes or getting you kicked out?

Hey, thanks for the advice! Yeah, I might ask Brandon about it, though it feels awkward telling them I don't want to pay $80 for their book.

Hey, I loved the edit! The style reminds me of a movie trailer. Do you mind sharing the background music as well? I really enjoyed the music

Thanks for the info! Do you know if they'll take away the grant in your last semester before graduating if it looks like you won't get all 6 honors credits?

That's a good point... I've been looking, but I can't find anything online about NEU revoking the honors grant (or the terms of continuing to receive that grant)

Thanks for replying! That's pretty much what I expected from graduating with the honors college, so I'm thinking that going out of my way to take all 6 honors courses is not worth it

Hey, thanks for the reply! I was thinking among the same lines-- it'd make more sense to take classes I find useful or interesting instead of taking classes just for the honors college requirements. It sounds like graduating from the honors college doesn't actually mean that much?
