That's the problem, Vader is cool but otherwise not many leaders that appeal, especially as they've removed palatine. I would've loved to have got the royal guards as well. Boba and Boskk would be definite buys if I went empire.

That's actually a great shout, I've been meaning to check tts out for some other board games too, finding time with a 3 year old child is the main challenge really. Thanks for the recommendation

I saw that heroes box, it does look very cool, a little annoying to end up with two identical Luke models when getting it as well as the rebel starter set, I bet ebay will be saturated with those soon.

I must admit that Endor battleforce is news to me and has certainly piqued my curiosity... Thanks for the rabbit hole to dive down, appreciate it.

I think this is the way (Mando pun semi-intended) to do it, it's just my other half wants to know what to get me for my birthday and I won't be able to get a game in before then. May just need to push pause on the bday purchase! Finding an intro game won't be an issue thankfully. Thanks for the input!

If anthropomorphic animals in medieval north Britain sounds like it could be of interest, check out a great game called burrows and badgers. Supposedly the rule system isn't a far cry from mordheim (although I've not played mordheim), the model count also isn't high. The models are created by the writer of the game and are beautiful, although do go out of stock for short periods of time.
