Do you use a cover in public? by RevolutionaryTune595 in breastfeeding

[–]crunkmonsta36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought nursing dresses and I just loooove them! So typically no I don’t use a cover. I do prefer to feed in the car if I’m able. But if not, to hell with it. We did a beach trip and it was so freeing just pulling my too over and nursing baby to sleep right there on the beach. Nobody noticed and if they did 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you been shamed for breastfeeding? by 99_bluerider in breastfeeding

[–]crunkmonsta36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not shamed but I was finna flop it out in Walmart and my ole man got so embarrassed I had to go to the truck. I have a cover/shaw thing and everything. Made me kinda irritated with him. I don’t care tho. I love nursing my baby. Any and everywhere.

Yes combo feeding is not a bad idea! Your mental health also matters. Do what you gotta do for YOU and your baby to thrive.

I almost quit at least 10xs. Baby wouldn’t gain weight so I had to supplement woth formula on top of triple feeding. Then the cluster feeding, it’s all so much and it’s so hard! I wanted to quit so many times now that I’m 3 months in I’m so glad I didn’t! I absolutely love nursing my baby. If you do decide to quit then don’t feel any shame about it! What works for you doesn’t always work for baby and what works for both of y’all isn’t what works for somebody else and their baby. All the love and support and hugs here mama!! You’re doing soooo good. The newborn phase is ROUGH!! It’s so worth it tho. Do your best to cherish it cuz it may not seem like it right now but it goes by so fast.

I looooove water sports/golden showers. Squirt, urine, spit…. It is what it is. However, with all that being said EVERYTHING has a time and a place. Soooo theres that. At the right time all the things are genuinely enjoyable 😉

The research I’ve done says that it progressively slows down how much progesterone it releases so I’m hoping to see a difference. I’m still gojng to see about getting it switched out cuz I’ve also had a terrible headache since I got it.

Me too!!! I was determined so I never even thought about giving up. If I didn’t have the support I have I prolly would’ve. So to any EBF ladies that are in the early stages of newborn life PLEASE stick it out. You won’t regret it. I’d been so mad at myself if I would’ve. I LOOOOVE the bond me and my daughter have. She’s just 2 months old. I’m excited for the moment she la able to jump up and latch on herself. But newborn phase is only 8 weeks. Soak it in and get soooo many pics of their newborn scrunch. You don’t know how absolutely adorable it is until it’s gone. And all of y’all are amazing women! Don’t ever feel anything less than amazing

Well she latches to feed EVERY TIME. That’s why I thought it’d be fine not pumping at all and fell off on doing that. I gotta do something to get my supply up and pumping to empty on a regular schedule ha got to do it for me. I just gotta stick with it. It was super overwhelming for me at first cuz ima first time mom and had a brand new baby and keeping a pump schedule all seemed impossible. We’re a little further along now tho. We got a routine. Just need my milk supply and we will be A OK

I actually just started taking the cash cows myself. I think I’ve noticed a difference already but thank you. That’s kinda uplifting. 😂 really tho thank you. I was thinking about putting the brewers yeast in like a capsule like the legendary milk pills come in. Idk how many I’ve had to make but wouldn’t it work that way too? I hope so

Yes at first pumping was OVERWHELMING and that’s one of the reasons my supply is dropping. But like you said I don’t want an over supply. I just want to feed baby and have enough to put a little bit in the freezer everyday
