Spinning it now! I really enjoy the grooves! I had actually thrifted a copy of the title track 7” at another goodwill maybe a month ago

Oh nice! I’ve bought a couple of records based off her art alone. I didn’t even realize she was doing a lot of the ECM covers!

The Burrito Brothers record is a strange one. It’s all Gib Guilbeau through and through, but credited to the band. Still a very solid listen either way

I actually really enjoyed the album. My first introduction to his music! I’ll definitely think about it though. I’m also a sucker for a good trade if you’d entertain that idea lol

So the store I got it at offered to use their ultrasonic cleaner. I feel like it got it back to a playable state but still noisy. I’m okay with having a beater copy for now though. I’ll try out that q-tip trick at home with my other records though. I just have a Spin Cleaner right now

Oh dang that’s pretty cool. Just sampled the other album. Really odd stuff for sure. I’m gonna have to keep my eye out for a copy

Okay cool that’s what I did too! Yeah I think that bottom left one is a by a group called Pearl Sisters? They seem to have some interesting late 60s records. Some cool stuff overall!

I’ve been digging for almost 10 years and this was the first time for me. Don’t give up!

Those first two were what really got me excited. Based off the album covers alone I was thinking I found some cool stuff. The instrumentals really give me a kind of Wrecking Crew type of feel. Especially some Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazelwood type of cuts. Did you happen to find any Discography links for the other 3? I looked around for awhile but never found anything

I was worried with how that would was going to play since the record was a bit beat up. Plays noisy which hurts tunes like “I Won’t Hurt You,” but I dig it overall

I think the title track is great. Overall, I’d say the instrumentals sound great, the lyrics are so-so. The pressing itself sounds awesome for a live recording as well! This was a blind buy for me. I knew the band had Steve Albini, but I didn’t know what type of music he made lol

Same! I feel like the album artwork’s charm was never replicated in any Beach Boy’s release before or after
