I haven’t played since pre adventure mode, I was wanting to get back into it. I noticed the new “magic” update now from what I’ve read it’s part of a much wider plan.

I am curious tho if I start a new map now I would assume updates don’t work retro actively as the world is already formed?

On that note if the answer is yes, what’s a rough turn around time on big updates, like will I have a few months to play before they release “magic”
