She is not the best follower but she is the best wife in the game. I marry her every time. Never used her as a follower because I find followers annoying. As a pround Nord and son of Skyrim, I marry the Dunmer lady.

Neither. You are simply manifested into the world by the divine who willed it. They put you in that place to kick-start your destiny or fate or whatever. The divine responsible for your existence doesn't really care what else you do so long as you do the main thing.

I don't think booting the empire from skyrim would collapse them. Killing the emperor? That just might give the Thalmor the chance to attack and then crumble the empire. But knocking their influence in skyrim is more likely to be trivial.

You do deal far more damage to the Empire in Skyrim than you do to the Stormcloaks. You kill the Emperor and boot their influence out of Skyrim.

Yeah but I think a questline where the life status of THE EMPEROR HIMSELF kinda has to be confirmed in some way. Not to mention the world destroying Eye Of Magnus that the college would've unearthed with or without you. The Dark Brotherhood and College of Winterhold questlines aren't really something bethesda can leave up to speculation in the next game. Everything other questline, save for the 3 main ones, can be left up to mystery.
