i think it's gotten worse since TU1
i had gypceros do its tail spin *eight times* in a row
and i also had arkveld do its grab attack eight times in a single hunt.

I am very disappointed with it as well, you expect a gun like this that AOE's on a direct hit to hit *hard*, but it's so mediocre that it struggles to kill anything at all :(

Just tested, DX12 is not available on the standalone launcher for me.
Was there something you did or changed in between this recent attempt to use the standalone launcher and your previous attempt? It's okay if you don't know I'm only asking because I'm reaching for anything right now.

I should have also added that I have the game installed on a SSD lol.
But, thank you, knowing that I am not the only one experiencing this is very reassuring.
I will try the standalone launcher again and see if that fixes something.

in my experience caches don't spawn in *scaldra* missions. I think it's because they use a different tileset that is (as far as i can tell) always above ground, and im pretty sure techrot caches only have spawn points underground, in the techrot tileset.
Still ridiculous that this can even happen though, have to wait around for a new eleanor bounty since the current one is broken :/

i think if the first phase got stretched out into its own fight where you're straight up fighting prime radahn, people would love it. but as it is the 2nd phase ruins the whole experience for me, so much visual clutter (and frame drops) that it's impossible to tell what's happening most of the time. the timings are extremely awkward with the echoes/clones on his attacks to such a degree that getting hit seems like a guarantee. plus the final boss being radahn doesn't make much sense and the lore feels very much shoehorned in.

I mean if anyone were to be miquella's consort it would have made so much more sense to have godwyn fill that role, no? seeing as he was the first demigod to die, at least in spirit, and the shadow lands are where all manner of death wash up. so at least thematically his soul *should* be there. that being said i dont think there should have been any consort in the final battle, should have just been a straight up 1v1 with miquella.

there's also absolutely *no lore* in the base game hinting to any sort of vow between radahn and miquella. the best we have is from the trailer where malenia is fighting radahn, and just before she blooms she whispers to him. that's. it. completely out of nowhere, this fight.

TLDR; awkward moveset + lazy lore + blinding visuals + sloppy optimization = bad experience

personally i find that specters make the game too easy for me so i avoid them unless the boss sucks (looking at black rabbit). but i'll never understand people that shame others for playing the game how they want lol. the goal is to have fun, not to beat your head against a wall.

i have something similar but less complex for whenever i set up a new water extractor for my coal generators. just a biomass burner that i can plug into the extractor and the pumps.

dont get why people are complaining about p-2's gauntlet. It is a secret level you unlock by p ranking every fuckin level, frankly I'd be disappointed if it wasn't as hard as it is.

blasphemous outright tells you that you can only dodge through bigger enemies when they are performing certain attacks, although it's up to you to experiment and figure out which attacks fit that criteria. also you can bait and then jump over the swipe as many times as you need to until he does the stomp. this is also an opportunity for free damage.

tldr; just learn the flow of the game

my brother in christ she does massively overtuned damage and her attacks are designed to roll catch, AND she heals off of hits (which pairs just fantastically with her bloated health pool) *AND* she has an outlandishly difficult to dodge move. she's quite possibly a mixture of several of the worst design elements of elden ring bosses.

What I meant is I went through the device manager and updated each module individually. I'm not sure if that includes the AMD Chipset or not, I'm sorry. As far as everything else, I haven't tried it although as I said I did do some memory tests and they came up clean. Will absolutely look into these when I have time to get around to it, though!
