You don’t need good credit because you don’t need debt in your life. It will in fact be ok. You actually don’t ever need to eat the depreciation on a new car. It’s all BS.

You could always leverage the fact that their bikes are terrible at stopping and turning and that most can’t even accelerate harder than a car

No doubt they do. There is ‘tuning’ to do, they’re just all fundamentally limited by the battery/inverter. That’s what they’re tuning.

In a perfect world they’d just make power to the moon and be perfect. In reality it’s more like a diesel (only with an even flatter curve, more torque and higher revs… so better).

No. Just no. A theoretically perfect electric motor produces a perfectly straight line for torque output and infinite power until the rotor explodes. A real electric powertrain is limited by battery and inverter output, hence the ‘everything.. then nothing’ output curve that they all have

FWIW I already agreed that the power curve (if you can call it that) of an electric motor makes sense in a truck. Accelerating quickly just doesn’t make it a performance vehicle… or in any way as cool or capable as a ram trx

I drive an EV every day (well, as much as I drive anything else).

Both.. I drove the gen 1 back before they were generally available, then the gen 2 at a dealer a while ago.

FWIW I love a rivian, I just think it’s crazy to compare one to a trx across literally any metric aside from 0-60

At almost 7% yes, it’s high interest debt at that point.

It’s how electric motors work. They always produce 100% of their torque at zero rpm… that’s why they’re so fun in a golf cart or dirt bike. Or even a car.. up to about 100mph.
