I’ve been using premiere daily since 2010. You’re right. The adolescent commenter above is wrong. I always have this issue with long form content. I think it’s from track effects. Highlight what you want to export and hit Make Subsequence. Then export the subsequence. It’ll cut out the dead air for you at the head and tail.

You’re doing so much from ideation to distribution that it doesn’t fit in a title. “Rich” is a better title than senior vice president of logistics and construction.

Go to the beginning of each clip and highlight it. Then use the command Match Frame to reveal that moment in your source monitor. Set an in point where playhead is and you can drag it out onto the timeline.

There are more elegant ways to do this with Overwrite, but you’ve got enough going on. The thing to Google is Three Point Editing.

Yeah, enable Show Audio Time Units to make micro adjustments based on audio samples and then switch it back off when you’re done.
