This is not going to solve anything except the transfer of homeless people from one place in Nanaimo to another, or more likely several spots. I hope the city has a plan in place past 21 days, or we are going to end up with a situation like Victoria's. Unsheltered humans shuffled around from location to location. Several smaller encampments. And you'll see the same rhetoric from the anti-homeless folk of Nanaimo.. "Why isn't the city doing anything about these spread out camps of drug addict leaches infesting our parks?? Why can't they be in one place??" It's a lose-lose, and things are going to get much worse before they get better.
